The Maton SRS 808 incorporates solid Blackwood back and sides and a Western Red Cedar top. The SRS 808 is an absolutely beautiful little guitar and combines the warm, full tones of Blackwood with the top end sparkle of Cedar. Here's Jesse to demonstrate these beauts!

I bought a left handed version of that guitar at the NAMM show in 2019. They sound amazing in person. Plugged in it's a monster. So full, rich and airy sounded. Absolutely love it.

First, a shout out to Artisan Guitars and the Maton brand. I custom ordered a Maton Blackwood EC in lefty from Artisan early this year. The pandemic delayed the delivery a bit, but it was so worth the wait. I own six Martin acoustics, a couple Gibsons, and one Taylor. I’ve owned Santa Cruz and Collings models ... all southpaws. My Maton is simply a spectacular instrument. The most balanced acoustic I own. And the electronics will absolutely blow your mind. I just played a funeral with it a couple weeks ago. Early next year, I intend to order another one from Artisan (they know this now ... “breaking news”) but please don’t tell my wife. Second, I saw the Ziggy Stardust tour at Masonic Auditorium in Detroit. It still ranks among the top-5 concerts I’ve attended in my life, which now includes more than 700 concerts/festivals, etc. And I love covering Bowie ...
