Did I just cry? Yes, I did! This is ABSOLUTELY beautiful! I didn’t even hit the three minute mark before I had to stop, and regain my composure. I am deeply touched. The Euphonium is a gorgeous instrument. Now I wish I could play it. Thank you for the music! You are extremely talented. Thank you!

One of the best songs made by you, Matonizz. Very easy to learn and play. I started playing Euphonium in the school and I keep playing this music to improve it. This with 2 years of training ( even though my main instrument is the Pisto Trombone ).

Mr. Matonizz I checked You Tube just out of curiosity for French Horn and Tuba, and you came acros the screen. Very, very nice. One conspiracy no one talks about, part of the conspiracy itself, is the maintainig lack of exposure from people from popular classes and marginañized cultures other instruments and sounds. The lack of knowledge comes out of fear, and that fear is being exploited to further ignorance, the opposite of what it is supposed to be and promote.

Well, I'm trying to expose people to as much brass music as possible, so hopefully one day it becomes a bit more mainstream :)

@@Matonizz I suppose it could be something of geeting used to, awake curiositr and context. There are people that are never giong to go to a cencert hall to listen, no way, But within other contexts, yeah. After all in early New Orleans jazz you could not go anywhere if there was not a Tuba around. I am not a follower fan, but I've learned to appreciate it.

I am amazed at the amount of music you can produce that is so incredibly precise and impressively musical. To steal from two set violin, you must be practicing 40 hours every day!! This channel just blows me away! Thank you!

Glad you're spotting this! No brass player/group in the world are producing with the volume we are currently and we are only going to ramp this up. Not only it requires a huge volume of hours but also a lot of planning and infrastructure that we spent effort, time and money building over years of work now. We'll eventually get to the point where there will be daily content and nothing can accelerate our goal more than people sharing our content, liking and commenting. Appreciate the acknowledgement and support Bill!

I guess my only criticism would be the tonguing wasn't clean enough so that there was a contrast from the slurring. I only heard two examples where a loud gasp for air interrupted the flow of the music near the end of the piece. I always find this to be offensive to me. I know I am quibbling, but thats just me.

Love this, though is it possible to have a duet (2 euphoniums or 1 euphonium + 1 trombone) instead of a solo and a descant part?
@Matonizz4 ай бұрын
Could be done, but even with descant it's more or less like a duet. The first section could be split by two players :)

Hi Matonizz, has Iain considered doing a brass band version of this piece?
@Matonizz2 жыл бұрын
Hi Michael, brass band version would be a bit of a tough sell for us. However, we sometimes do these bigger arrangements if someone makes a custom order. If that's something you'd be interested, shot me an email to info@matonizz.com and I'll get you the timeline and price quote. Best, M
Thank you Jeffrey, I have made numerous educational videos on tone development. Check the Educational Video Playlist on my channel, I am sure you will find bunch of useful information there friend. Best, M
