The 1966 Matt Helm "The Silencers" film featured a 1965 Mercury Colony Park wagon created by George Barris. It has the same interior features as the 1969 Aurora II.

Thanks! I'm going to have to watch that one again.

You can do a web search for pictures of the Matt Helm Mercury station wagon and see how they are almost identical in concept.@@Kuvakas

Interesting to see amber color on the tailights. I always appreciated that when I had some European makes like my Opel and my Sciroccos cuz I thought it was brighter and more readily seeable that you had an amber turn signal. I am surprised to see just a push button... LOL... for the rear door on the passenger side as opposed to a proper door handle ☺️

I remember those amber turn signals and the side marker lights when they first appeared on domestic vehicles. I thought they were beautiful and jewel-like.

Beautiful. Thanks for the video. Though the wheels look more like 20 inch than 15 scale inches to my eyes, at least.

That 1:1 car is small. That may throw things off a bit. The wheels are amazing replicas.

@@Kuvakas Yes the wheels are amazingly done but look huge. Not sure what you mean. How is the 1:1 car small if based on a standard wagon? Either way they look large to me on the regular Matrix Forg wgn.

@@UberLummox , sorry, my mistake. I was responding to several comments and got my models mixed up.

With wagons like this, SUV’s would have never made it past the drawing board.
