With the back upgrade, for train mode, I stick it inside of his trailer/tender for storage and safe keeping, while the gun is currently attached to the top of that part facing backwards to shoot anyone who foolish enough to get behind the train along side one of his other guns while the rest face the other direction to blow anyone who gets in the way, UP!!

I got the tailfin section add-on. That bare back end was the one thing about the figure that bugged me, it's so nice to have a means of fixing that one issue. The G1 gun is nice. Even with all the guns Astrotrain already has.

This upgrade is awesome. I picked up the shuttle part a few weeks ago. I store mine in the coal car, when transformed into a train ,as I don’t keep all the weapons in it. I did have to put a dab of superglue on the red part as it fell out and also on the tail because it got floppy after folding it a few times

I normally don't care for fillers and upgrade kits. This is one of the few I own because his native shuttle mode looks way too broken. Since he comes with a launchpad, this upgrade kit makes the launch mode look a lot better as it also allow 2 guns to be plugged into the two sides of the shuttle.

Guns are the cheapest assesory to make. They literally require no creativity. Nice top piece though.

I like that they made it a big missle launcher instead of just a filler piece. Shuttle doesn't bother me as much as the front of the train mode though, but I get the feeling that'd be far more involved to fix, and you probably couldn't do anything neat with it like that part.

I ordered the Astrotrain tail cover from TFSafari & it took two months to get here, but that was when Corona first hit. I don't mind the color being off, but I'm somewhat disappointed that it doesn't clip in securely; it just sits there by a tiny bit of friction, but I wish it tabbed in tightly. The Rifle looks tempting though, so I might get that.

You should be able to fit the tail fin disassembled inside of the tinder, assuming you're not storing his other weapons in there.

It should be pointed out that the G1 Astrotrain rifles on Shapeways cost a lot more, in case anyone was thinking of buying "domestic". Shapeways is charging $9 postage on even small items and have a 3 week turnaround time on making anything. It would have been about $18 to order anything there. TFSafari even with the "expedited" shipping they're using now, cost $13 total for the rifle and I got it in 2 weeks- and TFSafari is including little Lego or similar minifigs as bonuses. I like the rifle(though again, with Hasbro, it's a part that should have been in the box to start with, they give us 5 guns but no G1 rifle!) but I did have to fill in a gouge in the top when I got it. The color match is also poor but I've not been able to match the purple they used on Astrotrain yet, only getting it sort of close(good enough to repaint part of the rifle a bit darker). I like the idea of the shuttle filler, but I'm not that bothered by the "gap"(the giant armored section up front is what makes it look funny), it costs a lot more and I wasn't impressed enough by this company's QC to drop another $15 on it. If their production quality was better I'd have at least considered it. BTW if any of their parts are "warped" use a hair dryer to fix them, it will soften the plastic. The plastic is brittle when cooled and will snap like a pretzel if you try to bend it without heating it first. On a side note, none of the blast effects that come with Hasbro's Overwatch line are compatible with Siege or Earthrise. With a lot of small oddities that are present in both the Hasbro & Figma lines, I'm thinking Blizzard's contracts specifically didn't allow for pieces to be cross-compatible with other brands.

I got my MW shuttle upgrade couple days ago. Mine doesn't hold in at all, like doesn't even pretend like it's going to. It's literally just sitting there. Now, in train mode. I 3d printed a couple of 5mm "couplers" basically a tube that a 5mm peg can go in both sides of. I can use it as an elivated rear train section with that. It looks ok. But can't stand him on the "launchpad" with the shuttle piece on, which is how I like to display him in alt mode,.but train it is, unless you know some insight I'm missing. I've got common usually, but maybe I'm duh on this, I dunno.

It makes sense scale wise. In real life a space shuttle is pretty large and is gigantic compared to other vehicles, plus if his function is to basically be a troop carrier he has to be rather large.

hello mister Emgo I've been watching Young Warrior miniseries from Alpha Trion from the Titans return Transformers toy line. It is super funny! I don't know if you've put any thought into this but have you ever thought about doing a possible next subscriber special or else an anniversary special dealing with like the idea of Dude Where's My Couch or Death Bunny just a big special dealing with Alpha Trion and his crazy rants and the others have to deal with him. Or better yet have you thought about possibly doing a cut up version of your reviews dealing with the Alpha Trion outros and just make like one movie of just the little skits? I know it's a lot to ask from someone that just recently subscribed and now just started talking and that you are just one person. Just remember first and foremost before you take anything like this project idea on or other projects just take care of yourself and Mascot, I love your content and take care.

I think the colour matching here is worse than all other cases. With all the other upgrade kits like this sure the colour matching isn't 100% accurate but its about a 96 or 95% accuracy. This filler piece is basically a different colour.

He comes with 4 guns and a missile launcher. with this shuttle fin upgrade kit, it's already 6 weapons! Anyway, I armed him up with a Slitherfang shield as they both have purple.

I want to put a second missile launcher to even out the first (and make proper retro boosters for his shuttle mode), hang the remaining four guns off his arms and legs, then combine the original guns into that big rifle style weapon and run a hose to the backpack to imply it's a flamethrower. I want my Astrotrain to be a walking, one-man storm of bullets and pain.

@@ThyDungeonman2 yeah every mode looks awesome but $25 only gets you the 3D printing file. you'll still need to pay someone to 3D print it for you. Not to mention it will take up a lot of shelf space. Btw I have about 20 siege / earthrise figures. Astrotrain is still my favorite one. my only complain is that the shuttle's top doesn't close fully. maybe that's only my copy, but I noticed it on emgo's video as well.

For all the time this figure spends in vehicle mode, which isn't often, I feel this isn't worth it especially since it doesn't integrate into any other mode all that well
