My boolean difference keeps failing at 20:17, but grant it I was not able to do the taper because it would just go back to the initial extrusion even though it would show in the dynamic commands that a taper had been run. I have the McNeel Wiki Boolean FAQ, but I don't really understand. Have you done any videos on how to determine why a boolean has failed?

There are a few reasons Booleans don't work. But the main ones are if they are not closed watertight surfaces or the share a common plane. First of course make sure they are watertight closed surfaces. Next make sure that they are not sharing a common plane. If they are just click on one and move it by clicking on the gumball on one of the arrows and moving it .001 in the up or down direction. There is also another reason and that is maybe you have duplicates that you are selecting by selecting them all. Try ungrouping and doing them one at a time until you find the one that is not working. The last reason is sometimes Booleans don't like groups. lol they prefer to just have the surfaces you are trying to cut or join together. So ungrouping again is an option. But good ideal on the video of why they don't Boolean video.
