The only reason I haven't left Matrix v9 is because of the gem positioner tool. That tool is the most useful tool I've ever seen, I use it for everything...To add local coordinates to any object and then edit multiple objects at once using local transformation for each object....is there an alternative for that in Matrix Gold??

Everything is great but what about price, can we expect price drops? MGold looks too pricey for me, I can get almost good as yours Panther software for a way normal price. I would be very happy if you could compare earnings throughout the world and then make an average price, not only rich countries.

Stuller completely ruined Matrix. Everything from the way you create curve profiles to the way you do sweeps has been re-made and accuracy/fine tuning has been made pretty much impossible when it comes to exact measurements. The whole industry hates it. Don't know a single person who likes it. Most people I know refuse to upgrade from Matrix 9 or just pirate versions of version 8. I have only been to one company which everyone was using anything newer than v9, and the cad people had nothing but complaints and nightmare scenarios.

@Oriol Collelldemont it’s not just that it’s new. I take the time to learn new software all the time. I’m doing the same with zbrush right now. The problem isn’t that it’s just new, it’s that the ability to make precise changes and adjustments in a quick and realistic way is gone, and has been relaxes with doing it by eye through a non intuitive interface. That’s not something to “get used to”. This isn’t some 50 year old jewelry industry guy saying this who’s just too lazy to learn a new program. I’m a 30 year old who’s tech savvy and builds computers and knows a wide range of software in different fields saying the new software is a problem for people. That is criticism that a company should take very seriously in stead of double down on a problematic product.

@Oriol Collelldemont Well again, I am telling you, you need to reconsider the precision of the tools last used in matrix 9 and talk to your consumers. Your product is supposed to serve the consumer - the product is not a ideology or a religion that the consumer needs to get behind. If the consumer can't get what they need out of the product, they will stop using it or look elsewhere which isn't good for your bottom line. I can't get exact measurements anymore, on profiles, stone layouts are less reliable, etc. so there is no incentive to upgrade. It's up to you really. Listen to your customers or go the way of Solidscape.
