Oh, my gosh; you've described it perfectly! I've been unable to cry of my own volition for over four years, with the exception of cases of the most extreme stress pushing mere tears out for a couple minutes. It's like having an overdue library book that keeps getting billed, yet you have no way to diminish that debt no matter what you try. 　I'm at the point of just hoping I'll someday be able to have a good cry again, but also willing to accept that I'll have to settle for releasing the ever-building stress by other methods.

I love my solitude, but I think this is just something I say to lie to myself, don't get me wrong, I enjoy being alone. But not for long? And I think the reason for me acting this way is because I really don't like carrying other people's expectations on my own. So I really relate so damn hard on this one.

To play the jester, to always be there listening when you deal with other problems of your own, you empathize, and try to give them idea's of how to rid themselves of the emotion of sadness when truly you only have a temporary answer. While the parents expect you to be the president and have the best grades, yelling at you if you get a B or below on a test, or just plain ignoring you, calling you only for chores and to deal with their problems. I guess you are right, it does get quite tiring! But we all have to do things we don't wish to, no matter what you feel, the expectations that other people place on you are the trust they give you, even if they don't show the trust to you, you can always find it by looking deeper for the truth, expectations are truly what give motives. So yeah it get's tiring, but the bad gives good. I guess I'm contradicting myself but oh well! :)
