That's pretty much what's happening these past scrims, they're almost not trying to hold her and just let her rampage,, Towa and Suisei is just there for the safety net.

Her solo playstyle differs a lot from the usual V-saikyou or Apex Tournaments" environment in general so she actually often catch other teams off guard.

Ngl they play similar to TSM, and she's the Hal of StartEnd, towa is Reps, and suisei is Verhulst. Their strat also looks similar, aqua roams the map looking for DMG to evolve armor and openings, towa and suisei stay in camp while harassing enemy team and farm for armor. And they will move if aqua got 1 knock or find some spot for rotation, the problem is, when she's on fire, no one can stop her she just gone rampage berserk mode until she got knocked. Not to mention if she got full equiped devotion, she would ram 3 stacked team by herself lol.. and what amazed me is she pulled that off.. well sometime its not

Towa and suisei had hard time controlling her is because she is indeed aggressive type of solo player. It might ended up different if aqua is more cautious.

Well, being a solo means you HAVE to adapt in any situation and SURVIVE because you didn't know if your teammates gonna be there to help you or not. Since Aqua did alot, i mean ALOT of solo play, that makes her unconciously trying the best to survive and win the game.

But the problem is,this is NOT soloqueue.soloqueue and tourney's enviroment are night and day,which is defense and finding good spots.Sure Aqua's good,but unfortunately Towa and Suisei are not so much.In this enviroment,no wonder they haven't won any,due to how aggressive one can be.

Playing solo has so many benefits as you don't need to wait for a friends to play matches, your battle experience just ranks up way quicker than any team player could. Solo players literally can adapt to anything cause they just seen basically situation beforehand. The only problem is that you need a hell of a mind set to even tolerate the countless times of helplessness when you're just way overnumbered.

StartEnd is still struggling to find themselves. They keep testing different combinations, but I don't think that's even the problem. Their teamwork is just not up to par with the other teams. Suisei is noticeably their weakest link by far. She has improved a lot as a player, but not enough as a Valkyrie user, and her decision-making remains on the slow side. She needed a lot more practice time to be ready for this tourney. Towa sometimes acts like she's in two different teams, feeling like she has to both reign in Aqua and micromanage Suisei. Aqua herself has been doing far better than anybody expected, going over her every (aggressive) decision with the team, and displaying her admirable skill. Watching her play with her colleagues is fun, but watching her solo plays is breathtaking. But superlative solo skill won't cut it against these opponents. I sincerely hope they're enjoying the challenge, because in the end this is less about actual results and more about having fun.

Yes exactly. Aqua knew Suisei wasn't the best player and that she was really busy and couldn't put the time required to be on pro level. Suisei does practice a lot don't get me wrong, but there is so much you can do in this timeframe. She invited her mainly for moral support and because she wanted to play with friends. From what I have seen from their banter, Suisei is definitely doing her job on that front, joking around a lot and keeping everyone positive. It's really cute also how Towa goes along with it and does her best to make Aqua feel part of the team, even if she tends to poke fun at her a lot lol. Ultimately like you said, the goal is to have fun and winning is secondary for them. The real problem is all the flame wars going around. People take this event too seriously and its often becoming really toxic in comment sections. I hope that, no matter who wins in the end, the personal attacks will remain at a minimum.
