I remember in 1989 -90 I would sometimes go surf San Clemente pier and would sometimes see a long blonde haired guy popping airs near the pier and knew right away it was Archy. And me and my friend got told to go back to Mission Viejo even though I went to Dana Hills High School at the same time as Pat O'Connell, haha.

Hey Arch. It's Andrew from our MCD days. So great to see you still at it and still so solid. That tribal board I believe is from either '86 or '87. They have a picture of the whole quiver you had of that same board. I believe it was in that surf magazine article you did in 2010 when you were touring the new movie with Audrey and I swear it had the year. Nevermind, you have the pic in the video!. Should've waited until the end. Hope all is well.

Thank you God I did not get rid of my Christian Fletcher from 1991 and my Archie shaped by Timmy from 89 both have lanty wetsuits and Town & country lams. Both are 6'0 19wide 2 1/2thick Archys has 6 channels and Christans is a squash tail. Both are still in like new condition and go just as good as good as new. Mute airs and lay backs are the shit when ripping them 🌊🔱🤙

P.S. Look back at who was the MCD TEAM ( more core division) Mike Stewart, Sunny Garcia, Matt Archy, Jerry Lopez, Andy Irons, and a few others that were all at the top of their game. Since that photo came out in surfer magazine there is never been a team of the same caliber since then they were unstoppable.
