In this clip, Matt Barnes reflects back on the murder of George Floyd and his uncanny resemblance to his on-air colleague Stephen Jackson (who was also a close friend of Floyd. This ignites a discussion about the impact of the Floyd's death and it lead to the biggest protest in the history of the world. From there, they talk about the aftermath of the case and if police brutality in America will ever change.
Later, Matt Barnes weighed in on the death of PnB Rock and why it wasn’t the smartest decision to have a meal at the Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles location he chose. Matt said this is an example of why it’s important to know your surroundings but also why it’s vital to check in with someone from that particular city to give you a clear rundown of how to move around safely.
