I drove a city bus for a couple years - and this story is sooo grounded in truth!! Matt has nailed it. That driver is the Captain - ferrying her passengers, doing her best to get them where they need to be - when they need to be there and encountering one challenge after another. Riders and Drivers of local city bus routes - can relate - exactly - Matt has nailed this tale down to the smallest detail - beautifully. Thank you Matt Braunger!

Going in the folder labeled "Incredible Stories Made of Pure, Uncut Win" because this is a heroic tale capable of filling the feasting halls of Odin Allfather to the rafters with song honoring the majestic splendor that was unfurled on that bus that sacred day. That poor yet rich, sad but smug elderly infant was probably so crestfallen, so utterly shrunken by his outrageous lunacy, being dispatched with precision seen only in something like the single motion taken by Miyamoto Musashi that would see him draw his katana, kill a man, and click the sword's tsuba into place as it slams home in the sheath at his hip, that he had to buy three new sets of designer footwear for his purebred greyhound, Marzipan, in order to revitalize his fevered ego, now more brittle and frail than even his necromantic skeletal structure.
