Matt Burton open to cross-code NFL move | NRL 2024

Bulldogs star Matt Burton, has no immediate plans to join the NFL. However, the 23-year-old five-eighth, locked into a contract with Belmore until the end of 2027, remains open to the possibility of a move to the US in the future. The potential shift gained attention after Burton's agent, Dave Riolo, revealed in a 2022 podcast that NFL scouts had expressed interest in the player participating in the combine as a punter.
