It's hard to say why the 5th didn't take off like the first 3. I didnt ecen know there was a 5th. :)) O forgot about it with the studio's minimal advertising ....seems overall.....not just with the fifth JB film but with most Hollywood films done in the last 10 years....Hollywood has been "cheaping out" with their advertising budgets. In the early 20000's I recall HUGE ad campains e.g. for the Lord Of The Rings films, the Dark Knight Trillogy.... after 1011....something happened in Hollywood (and entertainment as a whle....oddly around the same time sax player Clarence Clemons from the E-Street Band died....it was like the music industry/film biz droped into a black hole....a-list actors/singers/bands had mostly retired or began to die....one by one....then recently a few of the legest began makng "return tours PT" e.g. Aerosmith...).... Kind of a sad time in entertainmet IMHO....we're moving away from the "movie theather going expereince" and moving to the "streaming" platform....most people don't own "home theater systems". But most can d/l film onto their flatscreens ...takes away from enjoying a film on a huge 50 foot screen, huge speakers/amps and a crowd having a good time....just not the same.... Tom Cruises latest Miion Impossible film went "stright to streaming with Paramount Plus".....which has to mean less revenue...i think too many don't want to watch films on a laptop....or even their 55" flatscreens (few can afford a 88" or larger..."dark times'''...
