@@Dylan-pt1iv at the time he really didn't have much money or time, so his wife basically handled the housework and cooking, (which is a lot of work since he ate like 12000 calories a day), so his wife definitely was a vital part of the team, not to mention the constant encouragement she gave him during tough times as she was always supportive of him being a strongman. That being said, we can't deny the work Eddie had put in, he is the one who risked his health to win world's strongest man, and he is the one to stick with his grueling training no matter what, but his wife definitely helped him a lot, especially during his toughest time. So I do think that she helped him win world's strongest man

In the begining Alex wouldve had to do all the work she does now, without the huge house, spa, expensive cars and millions in the bank. Yes at this point without Eddie she wouldnt have these things, but would Eddie have been able to win WSM without the support in the begining? Not many people would do what Alex has done

That is absolutely terrible. 1.5 miles in 13 minutes with a weighted vest is laughable. Truthfully. Laughable. He should be running around 6 minutes MINIMUM! Regardless of his size and weight, this will not hold up in the ring. He needs to lose a lot of weight if he wants to hang with Thor. Unless his plan is truly just hitting all or nothing punches.

To be fair, Eddie has a good bit more internal insulation. I do hot and cold therapy on the regular and pretty close to Eddie's body fat in this video. I can take a good bit of cold, but I also am very well aware that the fat layer does indeed help.

Was hoping for a second season but not yet. Too bad Devon couldn’t do more in the ring with Thor but goes to show it takes a lot of time and work to be properly trained to box , believe with more time Devon would have been much more effective, he’s an incredible person and a warrior in every sense of the word. The dog is a professionally trained guard dog. Those dogs that has qualified and gotten a certificate are among the highest intelligent dogs there is. The chances for that dog not noticing that car and getting hit is as close as you can ever get to 0. Mistakes can happen but don't compare that dog to normal dogs because that's not even close to a normal dog.

5:45 *You don’t necessarily want high PH water.* Personally, I feel much better eating a high acidic diet (lots of red meats etc with normal water - filter out the crap), and less alkaline foods. I wonder if Eddie’s digestion if harder than normal after drinking so much high Ph water? The additional ph don’t mean much if they’re just electrifying the water (iirc).

I mean Eddy is not training like a boxer really. He use that gimmicky vest instead of doing long distance cardio. What we saw from his boxing training was mediocre at best,Thor is not wrong. Hey Eddie. Your looking much more athletic now. How do you find boxing training vs strongman? I recently started kick boxing, and i feel much better doing martial arts instead of powerlifting.

I'm also thinking about switching to martial arts after years of bodybuilding and powerlifting, but I had a tendency to go for boxing, since my muscles are completely tight and shortened from lifting and I can't get my legs over hip-height anymore so kickboxing would be hell I think

@@holyromanempire3445 mobility has been key. I had a lower back injury that led to 16 months with sciatica and 23 years of age, so I quit quite early in the sport. Eventually I switched to calisthenics which helped with mobility. It's true, kicking is a challenge after lifting and injuries, but I was surprised how quickly mobility came back with careful stretching in just 1 month.

I mean strongmen literally train for strength and bodybuilders train to build muscle mass, I don't think anyone is under any illusions about that. I'm sure Matt is very strong compared to 99% of people in the world, but Eddie is literally a world record, world champion elite strength athlete.

I'd love his recovery stuff more then anything. I think without that he wouldn't be as fresh as he could be each day, doing the same thing at the volume, frequency and intensity he does. One session doing that, I'd feel like I've cured myself from all aliments lol. Fair play though. All round fit guy, even at his weight.

Aww Eddie - always been impressed with the amount of research you put into everything - but feeling slightly let down! Please research how bad a bowl is for fish - and in fact the size of tank a gold fish needs. That size will mean the growth is stunted - but it’s insides keep growing - meaning pain for the fish and short life span. Plus with bio load a filter is needed

@X Ennial I mean you could happily keep neocardinal shrimp in a bowl like that… substrate - some live plants … cycle it and off you go… especially using the walstead method. Though personally I prefer sponge filter and because of where I live - a aquarium heater. That would give you old world charm - without any detriment to livestock.
