Uhmm..didn't it occur to you that the laughter is fake? Why do you think they never show you the audience? So that if the comedian bombs, they can make it look bit better on youtube/TV.

I assume that has occurred to people but the laughter isn't fake. Occasionally, there are applause signs that they'll flash but only when they announce something like "I'm about to have a kid" or at the end of the set. Not sure if you'll be glad to learn this or not but it's true...no fake laughter.
