I'd like to thank Coach Eberflus for bringing the D back to the level he firmly believes in for the Chicago Bears. It's just been too long our D was allowed to languish and it's a beautiful thing to have the pride, honor and integrity back in defense

Not convinced yet. They only won against ONE team with a winning record. Victories against Brian Hoyer, Sam Howell, Josh Dobbs, and rookie Bryce Young (with no weapons) aren't stunningly impressive. Flus still hasn't explained dropping Justin Jones into coverage to lose that game to Joe Flacco late, let alone the other decisions that resulted in unprecedented blown leads. Yes, the team and the players are better, but this season will prove if the head coach has improved at all.

It would be interesting to hear how Flus would explain not moving on from Getsy earlier to see if improving the Bears' offense playcalling could have made a difference. His unwillingness to do that raises concern about his evaluation skills and flexibility to make the adjustments needed for building a successful team.

Defense def finished strong, but still like to hear that they're aware and addressing areas to improve. They still had very bad numbers (granted Sweat wasn't there half the year) in red zone scores given up and 3rd down conversions allowed. And the pass rush needs to add more, and 9 pick may end up being an offensive player. Plus can they always get all those INTs? I'm optimistic but stil work to do.

Exactly!! People can't have it both ways. It's either you have the entertainment stuff (like Wrigley) or the parking lot convenience (like Sox Park). Can people point to an example of an NFL stadium encompassing both the entertainmet experience and good parking (and no traffic). Every NFL stadium has bad traffic after game. People are soft and need to lower expectations that pulling up to an NFL game should be as convenient as pulling up to their local Costco. Walking a little won't hurt anyone!

Kevin Warren wasn't team president when that purchase was made. That was a Ted Phillips decision. If they do build it in the city, it's because Warren ultimately values a situation that best benefits both the team and the city. He seems to have a vision. If we're going to be mad at Arlington Park purchase, then we should be mad at Ted, the guy that made a deal on his way out, without much attention to detail or vision for how that will play out. I would say bad on Ted, honestly.

Maybe they are using the lakefront to bring down the taxes. But it was never the intention to take the Bears to Arlington. Maybe to build something else and they used the Bears to bring down the taxes. At the end, it doesn’t make any sense to you. They know what they are doing and what they have planned. They will look at all possibilities to benefit from one place, or maybe both with other ideas for the other place that doesn’t get the stadium. They are not just going into this blind.
