Absolutely no discipline or fundamentals. In their defense you can’t expect these guys to sustain blocks running 10-15yds sideways with zone blocking and trying to reach block everywhere. That being said, they’re completely whiffing blocking straight up in PassPro. Their sets are lazy and you have guys who can’t even anchor down for one second to be able to keep from tripping whoever’s pulling. The guys on the left side of the OL all have their left hand down I guess to look prettier.?. Try going out and trying to fire off with your opposite hand in the dirt. Awkward, weak and slower!! The TEs haven’t been successful in more than one block in a game for over 5 seasons now when they’re coming across the formation on a kick out or seal block. Most of the time they whiff or don’t even get the correct shade (side) for the play. It’s not we’re really going to run the ball with Cole or Everett from the wing. I know we think Cole should be running QB sneaks and dumb shit like that, but the D will obviously take that any day. It’s really sad we can’t run the tush push. We all despise it, but I care more about winning. We know the play and snap count which should give us a 1 second head start, but we give that up with our zone blocking schemes.

I don’t think Flus has ever had a bad practice. We’re the most perfect practicing team there ever was. We learn from all our mistakes and just get better and better each and every day. We just clean it up and never make the same mistake twice. The players have the fundamentals and discipline of middle school kids on game days. He doesn’t understand what coaching is. The whole point of coaching is to call guys out and teach them the right way. He can’t call them out. These coaches assume that these guys are pros and don’t need coaching. That’s clearly evident on the field.

how much time does he think he has for this team to "improve" - this organization is a dumpster fire at the top. Nobody at Hallas Hall has any idea how to recognize and develop offensive talent and this fact is unfortunately true throughout the entire super bowl era. I knew the Bears would not have offensive success because i have never seen it in 40+ years of watching football. They have absolutely no business drafting a number one QB. The Chicago Bears are where offensive players come to die, They have zero offensive coaching talent and they go spend a fortune on players they do not have the IQ to apply properly to their game plan. They are truly OFFENSIVE.

He says the O-line has talent but lack fundamentals...how long did it take to figure that out and why wasnt this addressed in training? @Joseph-gm3qmАй бұрын
That's definitely not the solution, Fields is a terrible Quarterback, yes fields is an elite runner, but in case you didn't know, the job of the Quarterback is to distribute the ball to the playmakers, not to be a running back. Caleb is a clear upgrade over Fields, it's shown in every game thus far, even the 7 sack game. Fields in his rookie season had a 9 sack game and a game where FIELDS turned the ball over 5 times in the same game and the Bears lost 38-3.
@Dabears559Ай бұрын
@Joseph-gm3qm Thanks for the clear, obvious response. Fields was not known for his legs. When he was in college, he had deep ball accuracy. The problem began when they tried to "fix" his throwing motion, the one similar to the one he's using in Pit. JF was able to able to more with his legs because, as you can see, the O-line is allowing constant pressure when Caleb isn't trying to play hero ball. Isn't it a coincidence that as soon as JF left, he started to progress who would have thought that? I'm sure you'll find a way to dispute what I'm saying, but the evidence is there. No QB is ever gonna thrive when a coach is on the hot seat trying to save his job like Fox with Tru, Nagy with Justin, and here we are in the same position as we were then with Flus and Caleb. You're right tho from what I've seen from Caleb he's definitely better than what we had with Justin because Justin has thrown 4 interceptions with 5 turnovers in 3 games and has taken us out of scoring range because he ran backwards 10-15 yards. Or was it Justin that also has happy feet and throws when his feet aren't set and under throws balls that end up being picked off? DJ had a career year with JF, and that didn't happen because he " couldn't distrupute the ball to play makers."
@KruzillaАй бұрын
Watch film bro, rooting for JF but he was not going to ever take the Bears anywhere meaningful.
@Dabears559Ай бұрын
@Kruzilla I did and still do watch tape. Fields was part of the, but not the biggest. O-line, bad play calling, and lack of accountability in all phases. Flus should have been canned, and we should have had Harbaugh. But no, we stuck with the lame duck coach
@KruzillaАй бұрын
@@Dabears559 I agree with this statement 100%, JF can be a solid QB on a winning team as we see with the Steelers. Just don’t think his ceiling is comparable to Caleb, Caleb may never reach his ceiling to the Bears being a garbage organization but in my opinion there is positive momentum. Would have loved Harbaugh on this team no doubt tho
