Garstka is technical no doubt but Halpern has more ability and is more diverse/soulful and expressive at the same time. I’d agree. There were a few off of madness of many that I really enjoyed melodically but most I find is technical for the sake of it…which isn’t a bad thing, but I find it similar to listening to classical music exercises. I think they’re figuring out their “song” writing skills. These past singles have been on another level as “songs” rather than simply technical display of their abilities (which, tbh I love)!
