aLime404 I hate to say this, but I think these jokes went over most of these negative commenters heads. I think most of them couldn't put the jokes into context, and are used to jokes that are spelled out for them, or are just full of blunt stupidity and cursing. Not that those kind of jokes are bad, but still. I thought he was really good.

orrrrrr... we just didn't find him funny. he's clever, thoughtful, etc. but not funny--to me. my measuring stick is simply whether i laugh or not. i didn't laugh. he'd probably be interesting in conversation he just has no comedic energy or rhythm. you can have the funniest jokes in the world but you also have to be able to deliver them.

I watched this when it aired...wow, that was painfully awful. He’s not even cruise ship comedian bad...he’s opening act for a C-list comedian in a middle America comedy club bad. It’s like he was expecting people to laugh at his jokes which made he extra painful to listen to the audience’s tepid reaction. Reminds me of Kyle Mooney’s bad comedian character Bruce on SNL Weekend Update...it’s practically a pastiche of shitty comedians
