MATT GOODWIN: The People's REVOLT-Why Reform UK Voters Are the TRUE Majority

In my latest talk at the Reform Party Conference, I explain why Reform UK voters are the true majority in Britain today. This is not just a fringe movement-it's a people’s revolt against an elite political class that has failed to deliver on core issues like immigration, border control, and the economy. Voters across the country are fed up with empty promises and leadership that puts elites first, not the British people.
As Keir Starmer’s government continues to lose ground, I share the key reasons why Reform UK is gaining momentum. I dive into polling that shows the public’s deep dissatisfaction with the political establishment and share the tragic story of Thomas Roberts, a young man whose life was stolen by a broken system.
This is about more than just stopping the boats-it's about taking back control of our borders, protecting our people, and building a future that works for the ordinary Briton. The People's Revolt has begun, and Reform UK is leading the charge.
Join over 55,000 others at www.mattgoodwi... as we challenge the status quo and fight for a future that puts the British people first.

Proud to be English. We have given enough to the world without feeling undermined by the other home nations. Heres just a sample of how proud we are to be English and not British >>> Florence Nightingale - Nightingale Training School for Nurses, established within St. Thomas’ Hospital in London in 1860, the first such school in the world, and her training book; Notes on Nursing, the world's first publication in nursing education. John Harrison - Invented the world's first marine chronometer, a timepiece which solved the problem of calculating longitude at sea. He was honoured in 2006 with the dedication of a stone at Westminster Abbey in London. He is also known for the Grasshopper Escapement and Gridiron Pendulum in clock making. Tim Berners-Lee - World Wide Web [Inventor of the first web server and browser, the HTML markup language, the URL system, and HTTP] Thomas Hawksley - Modern water supply systems and the first pressurized clean water supply available at the turn of a tap. It also saved many lives from Cholera. He received knighthoods and tributes from Sweden, Denmark, Brazil, and around the world for solving their water problems. See the splendid in-depth article on him from WaterWorld (an online water engineering magazine serving the water industry worldwide). Just type in "A Forgotten Hero Thomas Hawksley Waterworld" for the article. Frederick Lanchester - Disc Brakes. But apart from this innovation he was a God in the motoring industry: "out of the 36 primary features found in the modern car, Lanchester was responsible for inventing 18." - [from the Irish Times newspaper on this great Englishman of a now archived article from their resident motoring historian Bob Montgomery] Sir John Fowler - Engineer for the world's first underground railway; the London's Metropolitan Railway. He was also Chief Engineer for the Forth Bridge in Scotland that connects Fife and Edinburgh in partnership with fellow English Engineer Benjamin Baker. "He was a Victorian engineer who was responsible for the world’s first underground railway (the Metropolitan in London); he was also chief engineer for the Forth Railway Bridge. Fowler transformed this Highland landscape over 30 years, planting 9 million trees and building the suspension bridge over the River Droma here in 1874." - National Trust for Scotland website When it was first constructed it was regarded as the eighth wonder of the world. "He designed a number of bridges - including the Grosvenor Bridge, which carried the first railway across the Thames - and designed Victoria Station in London and stations in Glasgow, Sheffield, Liverpool and Manchester Central Station, including the 64m-wide train shed roof was the second widest unsupported steel arch in the country, after the roof of St Pancras Station." - Undiscovered Scotland website Michael Faraday - His Faraday Cage was a constructed metal container in 1836 that blocked out electromagnetic radiation. The Faraday Cage concept is used in various things today, from homes and office buildings to automobiles and aircraft. They are used in MRI machines and pacemakers, as well as in electronics laboratories, to isolate sensitive equipment from outside interference. John Charnley - Hip Replacement. "Charnley's contributions to orthopaedic sciences and surgery are so vast that it would be difficult to do justice when attempting to present more than a mere outline." - British Society for Rheumatology Harold Ridley - Intraocular Lens. (an artificial lens implant that replaced natural ones in cataract surgery). "He Changed the World, So That We Might Better See It." - Indian Journal of Ophthalmology Alec Reeves - Pulse Code Modulation (PMC). The Telegraph newspaper said from a past article on him: "Without PCM, there would be no Internet, no digital radio or television, no digital land-line or mobile telephones, no CDs, DVDs or CD-ROMs." In WW2 he developed 'Oboe' - a bomb guiding system of radio beams and radar tracking to guide bombers to their targets - that allowed RAF bombers to hit targets day and night in any weather with perfect accuracy. Bernard Spilsbury - Modern Forensics and the Murder Bag. His techniques revolutionized how Pathology works today. The "murder bag" was a specialized bag containing protective gear and tools to handle and retrieve evidence such as rubber gloves, tweezers, forceps, a magnifying glass, compass, ruler, and cotton swabs. John Howard - Prison reformer. His legacy is felt all over the world. He became the first citizen to have a statue in St. Paul's Cathedral. John Wesley [founder of the Methodist church] paid tribute to him as ‘one of the greatest men in Europe’. His work had influence as far afield as Germany, America and Russia. Isaac Newton - He changed the way we understand the universe by discovering the Laws of Gravity and Motion. He also invented the Reflecting Telescope and invented Calculus. Sophie Wilson - For her amazing work for Acorn computers and the BBC Microcomputer. She co-invented with Englishman Steve Furber the ARM processor: "The ARM processor core is now used in thousands of different products, from mobile phones and tablets to digital televisions and video games. The number of ARM processor cores now shipped exceeds 30 billion, or more than four ARM microprocessors for every person on earth" - CHM (computer history museum) on Sophie Wilson Joseph Aspdin - Modern Cement. He called it Portland Cement, due to the similar colour quarried on the English Isle of Portland off the Dorset coast. His use of limestone and clay led to a process that eventually became a powder that mixed with water would Set and become Concrete.

We've relinquished too much in this country. Allowed ourselves to be swayed by too much EU interference and UK government overreach without us noticing it's been happening. The line between our inalienable rights and conjured up rules and regulations has become blurred. People in the 40s and 50s didn't need to worry about the government too much because everything was done manually. The computerisation has opened the door into every aspect of our lives they want to know all our business now, as if they have that right? This is why we need a Citizens' Charter to ensure we get our privacy and Human Rights back. Parents need a Charter for all teachers and workers coming into contact with their children, to sign - this will curtail the vague guidelines that have emerged allowing young children to be given inappropriate sex education 'lessons' behind parents' backs. It's grooming and it must be stopped. As with making education establishments sign an agreement drawn up by parents to protect all children, we need the same from our MPs, government workers and civil servants. We need to reclaim every aspect of our life and country back - something Lawrence Fox has been dedicated to and been cast out because of it.

Matt needs to stand as an MP. He'd be brilliant. A possible future Reform Leader. Calm, measured, he can out debate anybody because he's well researched.

Outstanding individual. After reading his book “Revolt On The Right” in 2014 I thought he had a clear inside into what the vast majority wanted in this country.

Thomas Roberts - Professor - is Stephen Lawrence 25 years on. We are told the latter was institutional racism and were reminded only last week by the BBC. The former is also institutional racism but inverted 180 degrees and, consequently, in the minds of our elites (and one of the youngest senior coroners in the UK who spent her entire secondary, tertiary and training years under a post-Blair era) it is NOT institutional racism because racism is a one-way street only. Nothing to see here…we are told. The utter shame of this makes me despair.

It's not just illegal immigration that has to be stopped. Legal immigration has to be addressed - and the level drastically reduced. We need a complete moratorium on all immigration - legal and illegal - for at least five years.

Post election, the Reform UK leader is not at all concerned with how many English are in England. Deportations are not an option. Family, community, country.
