The society requires that to be happy you must have car, notebook, cell phones and a lot of money. But true happiness is to be simple and free! That is not price!
@squaretrianglez4 жыл бұрын
Almost right bro. But true happiness lies in 'knowing' that vast immeasurable riches await you upon death. That comes from accepting Jesus Christ as personal Savior.

Cody lived off of the land for 20 years, in a house he built, off the grid, before he was on TV. Matt Graham is a hobbyist. He may fool the general television audience, but it's going to take more than hiking the California section of the PCT and acting like Cody to compete with how tribes currently live off the land in other areas of the world.

Cody is a well rounded survival expert. He is proficient in all types of survival; homesteading, urban survival, bush crafting, primitive living skills, emergency preparedness, as well as modern survival. This new guy has made himself a star in survival entertainment. Don't believe everything you see on TV. The producers of that show tried to get Cody to do things like use fuel to help him start a fire. The new guy would be all over that, or anything else that will make him a bigger star.
@calebburden38610 жыл бұрын
Marcus Hampton sorry to burst your bubble but matt is just as good or better at starting fires compared to Cody, I think they are both awesome but matt does live a more primitive lifestyle

Poor dave and cody. I'm a gigantic Graham fan (by far my favorite participant), but cody and dave gave a lot to me personally - teti doesn't know a fucking thing. Anal retentive cody turns out to be, not only a practitioner with vast knowledge, but an awesome human being. Once he came to believe that dave knew stuff they had a total bromance - was a cool evolution. Dave, for all his bullshitting to make his career, REALLY knew what he was doing in his areas off expertise - teti doesn't know a fucking thing. So, teti over cody, huh? Sucks. Except we get to learn from Graham - saving grace of this whole shitstorm. And he has teti to gather wood for him, forage dandelions, and slaughter animals like a total amateur. I feel like everything teti brings to the table is the result of a quick Google search right before shooting the episode. Not a teti fan. Can you tell?

@SLfromknifetown9 жыл бұрын
+sandra quinn But if you're dead you cannot appreciate the beauty of the rainbow. I was trying to be smug but that actually holds meaning. If the survival shows always try to be dramatic and producers constantly put conflicting characters in the shows, it's gonna kill the interest in many. Because I think many today are seeking ways to handle stress and connect with nature, and a part of these may be dismayed by the way these shows are depicting "survival training" for lack of a better term. I've always loved the hippie-like survivalists on the shows. The "GI-Joes" are just embarrassing...

driiifter He's high on SUMTHIN'. Prolly himself. Can't wait to see how they interact when Joe decides it's better to sleep in a pile of warm lion shit because it's here now.than to look for a cleaner place.
@driiifter10 жыл бұрын
1acroyear1 that must be a reference to the Norway episode which Joe insists they shelter next to a gusty shale. i think Cody was justified in his frustrations.
@1acroyear110 жыл бұрын
driiifter There was also the time Joe wanted to sleep in a tree hollow full of bat shit. And the time (in Argentina?) Joe wanted to carry a little firewood because a few minutes of fire is better than none. Or the time they were in the jungle and Joe decided to stop and face off against a cobra that was twenty feet away instead of just moving on. Joe's idea of survival is that a bad situation can be made better just by believing it. I had no idea Walt Disney was a military survival instructor. They honestly got rid of the wrong guy.
@driiifter10 жыл бұрын
1acroyear1 you friggin said it, buddy. (i forgot about the bat shit house, lol.) and Cody was right about the cobra the entire time, what a hard head. i'm stoked for Matt Graham. i didn't think they'd be able to find someone on par or more hardcore than Cody.

I think Joe needs to start pulling his own weight on the show. I want to see Joe's skills. It seems that old Matt does everything but leave a mint on Joe's pillow. If I am wrong I still would like to see Joe's skills showcased because that would be shitty of Discovery to exclude Joe like that.
@cup_and_cone10 жыл бұрын
Joes skills consist of the following: Walking, bitching, taking huge unnecessary risks like climbing trees and repelling, more bitching, and killing animals that the show producers tied-down with his knife.

@@voodoofighter1963 BS the only thing joe ever did cool on the several seasons of the show was make that crossbow and kill a porqupine everything else was bitching!!!!!!!! Matt graham on the other hand made fires on just about every episode sometimes more than once and also pretty much caught all of the food for example with the pig hunt Matt Graham made an atlatl killed a pig in the time it took Joe to sharpen some stick and put them in premade holes. the only thing he ever did was bitch about the shelters that Matt made and made fun of him about his different view on life. Joe needs to stay off the show make bugout bags and drink beer.

Hmmm... ..."'the shake' all in regards to the move of the land." Not many say shake. Unless ordering a chocolate or ice cream one. A word used in reference to respect. Matt is very smart man when it comes to survival but when it comes to spiritual he’s a fool. We know he’s a spiritual person because he’s has said many things many times about the spiritual side of things. Sad to say Matt is lost spiritually, if this man was dropped off in a wilderness he’ll find his way out. But spiritually he can’t find his way and if he chooses to die in his SINs he will go to Hell and will never find his way out. Jesus Christ is the only way to Salvation there is no other way.

Ope! There's the rub! You have a gf. So you get to have society. Prolly good to have a gf to tell you about smells you may have become noseblind too! Lol! Glad you have gf, that wasn't the rub, the rub was the first scene of u with her and there being an electrical outlet. I'm not judging. I'm obviously using electronics. And no, sadly they aren't solar powered lol! Just what I've seen of you, that seemed a confliction of spirit. But how do you keep batteries charged and room for data while living in the woods? Er, um desert? Guess you see my point and my intent. How do I go live x days in the wilds while having power and data room to record what I do? What? Buy I crap ton of batteries and memory cards?... That seems counter intuitive to the cause. Sorta. Multiple causes. Real questions about real documenting authentic. How do you do it?
