So much flavor, creativity. The drums compliment the guitar perfectly

Usually listening to a song without the singing sounds wrong but the music is just so good. It's almost like it's missing nothing.

I think what your hearing is the lack of editing which is just supposed to show how naturally tight he is...this to me sounds like very unprocessed drum tones not horribly processed in the wrong way
@WesGood6 жыл бұрын
This was actually done at my studio, but not with our engineers. GK brought in their own engineer. and from what i remember he was told specifically to leave it as raw as possible. i do think the drums could be louder though.

@therestingmitchface62418 жыл бұрын
He is left foot dominant

I love that he's making studio videos but can we please start getting more songs besides the most popular three from each album? ABR is my favorite band but lets see songs like Treatment, The First Step, Blackwood, Separating the Seas!
@AugustBurnsSam8 жыл бұрын
+Jacob Agee I think the reason they do the popular ones is because by nature, the most popular ones are probably what most people want to see.
@wipe0utpuls38 жыл бұрын
But they aren't the toughest...that's what drummers need to see.
@AugustBurnsSam8 жыл бұрын
The toughest ones might not be in the highest demand though. That's what YOU want to see. yeah. But i doubt that's what the MAJORITY wants to see. I'd love to see a play through of Everlasting Ending or Broken Promises, but those aren't really the crowd favorites, y'know?
@agee238 жыл бұрын
Yeah, true, but at the same time, a play through of a not so popular song could boost its liking and make it a popular one. Just my Opinion.
@wipe0utpuls38 жыл бұрын

How come he doesn’t play his own company’s drums for his band live or in the studio? I knows he’s endorsed with dw but it’s not a good look when he start up and try to sell people your drums and then play another brands kit for all the important stuff like shows and recording. Lol. I think he sometimes uses gk snares but that’s it with abr. Adam gray on the other hand uses the gk kit and snare for his band Texas in July before they stopped being active.

Pat Carey not particularly angry, more of a mild annoyance. i do love the guys drumming and the music he makes, i just feel very uncomfortable watching him and i wish he would get better engineers to produce his stuff, thats all

if you couldnt tell dude, i was trying to give my opinion. im not in any way saying he's bad, he's just terribly generic, needs a better engineer, and kind of hurts to watch him be so stiff in my own opinion.
