Hi mate thanks so much for sharing an honest review. I have been out of UK past 33 years and shall be returning soon finally! I am looking forward to fishing my local gravel pit membership again :)I plan to start back fishing slowly again both by float fishing and feeder fishing for silver fish for a season before hopefully moving onto Tench and maybe Carp in the same lake maybe a season after. I am Ok with the float rod I still have however I havent done feeder fishing before. I think this outfit will be great for me to get back into it and learn the basics? Thanks so much for sharing, its appreciated.

It’s not a bad little budget set at all really. It won’t last years and years but it certainly sounds suitable for what you are looking for. I would certainly get another rod rest though! i live in green bay wi. you cant find any of this stuff in the us. i ordered this on amazon uk. cant wait to try it on carp. your review is encouraging. we'll have to see

Hi Gary thanks for your message. Yeah it’s not a bad little set. A few bits aren’t great but overall it does the job. I still use the rod and reel now occasionally when not specimen fishing. Hope it does you well. Thanks for taking the time to watch, comment and subscribe. 👍🏻Ross

Funny how reel designers are all putting holes on their spools these days, great review buddy but the tackle isn't for me, I'd spend a little more and shop about for better tackle tbh,thanks buddy

Hi Gaz thanks for taking the time to watch my videos. Yeah this set really is aimed at bottom end budget and though looking to try out fishing. Those that aren't in a rush to have everything all at once can pick up some decent kit that will last longer in the long run. However, on average tight budget and looking to give angling a go its not a bad set. Always worth going to your local tackle shop to see what they can recommend and how they can help out 👍. Yes many are. But for those on very tight budgets it’s a start. It’s better to be able to be able to go fishing than not at all especially for youngsters starting out
