Everytime I listen to Matt Heckler someone asks me who he is, I can't recall how many people I've turned his way. Fantastic Artist, met him briefly at a venue few years back, extremely kind, extremely humble. Nothing but respect for this man and his skill on the strings. Much love, Mr Heckler, you make life that much easier to get through with these amazing tunes you contribute.

Had the pleasure of seeing him in Taos, NM a little while ago. He played until almost midnight and by the end only about 16 or so people were there still. His videos on KZbin are great, but in person without a microphone or speaker was unforgettable… An Absolutely wonderful musician and human.

I've seen Matt open for Lost Dog twice in Canton, Ohio. The last time, it was hot as hell, and people were dropping in line. People rushed for water, ice, etc. But Matt walked up and down the line, engaging with folks, when he could have been living it up in some air conditioned van, or green room. His music is savant-level, and his Humanity is even deeper.
