I listened to this just before I went to the Temple today. I had a beautiful Temple experience because of the things you taught in this wonderful podcast. The word ‘light’ is used many times in the endowment. I was so focused on ‘receiving’ more light and knowledge. It happened. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and spirit with us. ♥️🙏🏻

Back in the 80’s I attended BYU study abroad. We were in London and attended many cultural events. Plays, ballets, and concerts. We were at a play that made these BYU ladies uncomfortable. During intermission the cast and crew asked us to leave. Our director told us we could make the choice. He told us that they felt uncomfortable because of the Light we brought into an otherwise dark and evil place. It disrupted the darkness. We chose to stay to not let them bully us. I’ve really thought about it and pondered it all these years. Didn’t realize that light makes the devil’s kingdom quake. We continued to make them uncomfortable the rest of the miserable play.

Wow, that's powerful! Thank you for sharing. There was a similar thing that some Israeli officials said about the students at the BYU / Jerusalem Center, because was illegal to proselyte doing missionary work, or sharing anything about the Church or Restored Gospel. After agreements were made not to proselyte, officials said, "Aww, but how can you hide the light in their eyes?" 😇🙏

Why did i have more light in me when i was in my growing up years? Or is the memory of more light within an illusion and the same light that was there in my younger years is there but is now dim, like car lights, the lights dont get taken off the car but gets more dim? If it takes dark to bring the light out is the darkness in us part of the eternal plan? Sometimes i wonder if those who die at a young age before the darkness comes are happy in their light or does it seem empty because they didnt have the dark to bring the light out. Those who have been thru dark and stormy times spend more time on their knees when the light comes so the dark times must have a role making us thankful for the light. But the dark made me thankful for the light and also dimmed my headlights, that wasnt really the plan. Im thankful mortality didnt end for me at under age 10 as though i would have gone into eternity withmore light the darkness has given a richer experience. Its like people who can sing with a dark tone to their voice that darkness isnt necessarily negative but rich. Those who do well with this can apply that richness i n a nice way. Those who can sing in a dark rich tone can sing next to one with a light tone and can often show contrast that confirms principles of the gospel they can testify of truth doing this as sound is frequency as well. I used to have so much light in me but the dark times that gave me richness, not a rich singing voice unfortunately but a richness of life also kept me hostage in the dark. So how do we get a dim light back? Auras are light and frequency and can be photographed with kirilian photography which does not utilize light thats there. I lost my ability to see auras soon after turning 12, so there seems to something that happens around that age making a major shift. If we try to ascend do those abilities we once had come back? If we resonate with all diverse lights and frequencies, why does society believe it is their duty to destroy some colors and frequencies of light and knowledge? How do we survive society as it does its best to destoy some light frequencies but not others?

You have so much meat in your comment. I have had that same inspiration about foundational light that I knew as a child 👱‍♀and how it anchored me to my Heavenly Father. I was connected to The Family as God's love to all humanity, Nature, my Family, Parents, the Gospel, Community, Church, and it's like we get to keep learning layers over and over again, because we all are still building foundational repairs, since we are in morality. Elder Neal A. Maxwell taught me years ago, that Perfection means our journey to becoming WHOLE, COMPLETE, HOLY, WHOLESOME, and like Christ. AND, none of us are there yet, but through Christ, we can become all we came to claim, in HIS NAME. We aren't worthy, but Jesus IS, and we can lean on Him for our completion. Perhaps, we each wanted to come to a darkened world, so our lights could shine brighter! Perhaps we had to qualify for that! Still, we shrink at the challenges and weakness that breaks our hearts. 💕 Guess what? Jesus felt to shrink too, and even He, a God, could not have comprehended the intensity and gut-wrenching 🫀He would experience. We are in good company! Blessings.

@@alanstander4351 In addition, I wanted to share a process that helps me because we agreed to Descend below ⬇️ in our quest to Ascend ⬆️ toward our Heavenly Home: We have the power to ask the Lord to gift 🎁 us 5 “R’s.” 1- Remove negative attributes, feelings, dark gifts, false beliefs (can you identify any in yourself)? 2- Restore (the positives you want by name, like your Divine Blueprint” your hope in Christ and that He will navigate you through every challenge, etc. 3- Reclaim your Divine Identity, your self-confidence, eternal priorities, time, etc. 4- Reorganize your life, priorities, re-orchestrating the best choices for your time & family, etc. 5- Rejoice in the Lord’s love for you. Rejoice that faith is real, it works, and that Jesus is our Best Friend. I play praise music often, because sometimes that’s all I have. It helps shift me Upward 😇

Do not look directly at the sun. That is a really bad idea. Being exposed to sunlight is a good idea however.
