See that's the thing tho! If you're an artist Pearl will bring you on and you can do custom kits. Nowadays there are so many drum companies out there now that are primarily custom based like SJC Custom Drums and Predator Percussion are two of them who do custom snares and kits for anyone. I've even made a custom snare with SJC and it was the best thing I've done. They are such a great company to be endorsed with and supporting. So, yeah! Pearl is great and all but for those who want fully custom kits or snare for anyone not just famous drummers then definitely look fot custom drum companies.
