I was on the MIP site looking at tools when I stumbled onto the pistons. I run mostly 1/8 scale Arrma for bashing and been having issues with my rigs bouncing on massive landings and think these would be perfect to run upside down with the valve under the piston instead of on top (nut side) to slow rebound but not compression 🤔

I have these MIP pistons and I’m having trouble with these my stock Mugen MBX8 suspension reaction was a lot better then these. I’ve ran the green blue configuration with like 150 lower shock weight and still my rebound was super slow. It feels as if the oil is having a hard time flowing through the stock holes when the car need to raise back up I tried firming up the springs still super slow to raise back up I did everything in my power to make these work ended up going back to stock pistons and now these collect dust.

pretty soon if not now, shock oil/pistons will be just as if not more important than tires.

Adam when and why have you not developed your own 1/8 scale buggy or truggy??? It would seem to me your knowledge as well as others your involved or friends with would be the a wonderful idea to bring to the table. Just imagine “Drake BO1 and Drake TO1” I know I can imagine it.
