In reference to the flagging thing. I think yes us civilians that are trying to learn need to be 100% disciplined as far as flagging. The difference in my opinion is the CAG guy is an absolute professional running around with a few others just like him and they trust each other to not ND. Like he said, real world in a small area such as this flagging is unavoidable but they will have the mechanical safety and the finger safety on. I’ve always been safety on until ready to break the shot, then safe back on. Thought it was the only way. Apologies-confused on who’s channel this is but I enjoyed the conversation!

I've heard in many interviews with tier 1 operators that they say in their selection processes, that "what they learned as gospel" goes out the window quickly. I've always wondered what it could be they're talking about...after seeing this, it's pretty clear all the super super strict "never ever flag another person in the cqb house" goes out the door. These guys are always operating at such a insane but accurate and deliberate pace that flagging becomes inevitable and let's be honest here...if u have ur finger off the trigger and weapon on safe, wtf would it matter to folks at this level if they flag someone? Lol

The role playing opposition force just stood around holding their guns and did not fight back at all. Anybody would have either surrendered or tried to actually take cover and shoot back. I agree with the FAST guy that this was very unrealistic. The opposition force could hear the helicopter and had plenty of time to take cover and shoot back or decide to surrender.

what is ur experience lol? you would be surprised , due to the shock of it , not everyone automatically would take cover. how can u argue with a guy who has 12 years at SMU

Perspective is everything, and WE simply don't have it. We have 1 camera angle from 1 guy in a 360-degree world. We cannot possibly see what these guys saw. I don't know what your experience or background is, and I'm Ex military and current LE with a lot of SWAT/narcotics experience. That said I cannot critique these guys in the video because the nature of the work in LE is very different. Some may say hostage rescue is hostage rescue, but civilian SWAT has different ROE and are working in a permissible environment among many other things. So all HR is NOT HR. It is easy to cast doubt on other when you don't have their level of training or experience from a one-dimensional video in bad lighting. We don't know what the OPFOR were instructed to do or what assumptions about what was happening or mistakes the OPFOR made. This could have been the 1st training evolution of the day, and they were just getting acclimated or the 5th? We don't know. I can tell you from my experience that I have conducted ops in the civilian world where it was obvious before entering a structure that the bad guys knew we there, and through the use of distractions and multiple breach points, the bad guys had no idea what direction we were coming from and were caught very off-guard. I have trained with many guys formerly assigned to the unit Mr. Pranka was with. It is difficult to understand how good they are unless you have witnessed it firsthand. There is nothing else like it in the regular military, and nothing like it in civilian LE. What I can tell you is this guy does not possess the knowledge, skills or abilities to critique a local SWAT team on CQB and certainly not a military SMU. People who have a decent understanding of CQB now have the perspective that this guy has made himself look stupid for the sake of trying to get more clicks/likes and promote his business by trying to call into question the training and tactics of men who are multiple levels are above where he could ever dream of being. That is just the cold hard truth.

Sorry, but local SWAT is nowhere comparable to ANYTHING Mr. Pranka has done. LE is a joke compared to the skill level and experience of THE BEST unit on the planet. NO comparison. LE is a joke, and that is why people like Mr. Pranka trains them.

Ur joking, right? Do u not know the background of this video??? All the crap Stoker was talking? He was absolutely a LOT nicer than most folks would be to a huge shit talker.

@@SemperFi_EDC_Guy I do know the background of the video, and Matt is still arrogant. If that bothers you, too bad.

@taylorbrown3336 how should he have talked to the guy who made a 30 plus minute reaction video berating him? Just curious. 🤔
