Had a fun experience with Mike Glover. I was grilling him on the gram about his whole ‘dry fire is stupid’ thing. He literally told me he never said that, then told me I didn’t know the full story. I sent him a screen record of the episode (I think they took down) and he blocked me on everything. Dude served his country but man can’t stand up for his own shit

I took one of Glover’s classes. Far and away the worst class I’ve ever been to. Mike basically recited all the lines from his KZbin vids and had the class do a handful of drills. At no point did he offer individual criticism to any of the students. I even watched a student muzzle his hand and Mike didn’t say s**t. Also the only class I’ve been to that started and ended 9-2 sharp. It was like it was a chore and the dude couldn’t wait to get the hell out of there.

I agree about the drill doesn’t matter it’s a lot like going to the gym, yapping online about what workouts to do versus consistency and actually showing up and working out tends to make all the difference, not so much the different type of training, just that you do some training at all ❤

There’s a reason why he’s losing solid people in his company (FCS), the bigger his company became, the more of a marketing puppet he became and just abandoned some of the solid stuff he had people hired for. Kevin (the irish guy) leaving is probably the eye opener for Mike’s fanbase. They’ve had their blinders on for way too long.

I’ve never seen this live , this adds more pieces to a larger scale , it was said once on a podcast with Evan hafer and Andy stumpf, Evan stated he’s known Mike for 10 years , he would know if Mike wasn’t saying who he was saying he was . I think that’s a genuine statement if he took mike glovers words of mouth seriously. Definitely life experiences for me to reflect on.

Oh 100% agreed and I do the exact same. First getting into shooting and trying to find content on the internet led me and many others to the usual “tactical” guys trying to make some slick content with no actual substance. Once I found Ben and Matt it was so refreshing and more importantly beneficial to learning how to practice to increase my skills, I felt like I was going nowhere for a year and once I started watching and practicing this good content I started seeing steady, measurable growth

I recently got into competitive pistol shooting and coming from the tactile side of it. I look back at these tactile guys and most of them can’t shoot for shit. I’m diss appointed I didn’t notice this sooner. But honestly they don’t show most if not all of it.

My whole life I've only seen about 90 seconds of Glover speaking, and was immediately turned off, he was boasting about some very dynamic gunfight and describing this long winded gunfight in detail, and talking about killing people, not in a funny Clint Smith way, it came off like he was boasting, very offputting, I figured he was either nuts or lying or both.

I just got into with him on his channel. I’ve spent money in his store, and liked and shared his videos. The moment I said something he didn’t like, he acted like a girl. I was a grunt in the marine corps, 70% disabled, My father was a green beret for over 20 years, my uncle is Colonel John Ives former NAS commander of Ft Meade, and he acted like I was a piece of shit just because I called him out for how his lack of engagement with the same people paying his bills. I know nothing firsthand about who you guys troll. What I do know is people who talk shit on everyone that I know make me wonder if they just tear others down for fun. You might be correct in these trollings. I enjoy it. But I honestly cannot tell if you are lying or your trollees are full of crap. I bought nearly all Ben's books because I know he is a champion and I like his youtube videos on instruction. Straight to the point and no salesmanship personality stuff. I would like more detail if Pat Mac lied, if Kennedy and how he made the Afghan withdrawl more difficult, etc not just accusations.
