It was one of the most personal song for me when I came to know the Lord Jesus intimately. I laid it all at the feet of the Lord when I first sang this, and gone on to where I am today. Praise the Lord, never looked back :)

I had the song at my baptism. It spoke to me because my baptism was witnessed by many but it was between me and God. I also went away from God from many years but I came back to the heart of worship

Much respect for Matt and his commitment to scriptural integrity in his writing. We are losing that in the modern “worship” songs of today. This is an older video, but he seems to still hold true to his statements today.
