Nope, 6months later aka now when the reports of him saying stuff like "I can beat Roman in a street fight" came out everyone started hating him WWE TOLERATED HIM FOR AS LONG AS THEY COULD He picks fight with every top guy of the company and is literally a burden to the company to deal with

Every time I hear Riddle he sounds more and more reasonable, I get there's people who hate his guts, but to me, he honestly sounds like an honestly well-intentioned guy. I've heard only snippets of this interview, but every time I see him talking, it's always him trying to he positive and not sound bitter even in situations others probably would've been. I honestly hope the best for him. He seems so chill and likable. Here's hoping he can do some fun stuff on the indies

@Your_TribalChief Well, idk apparently him and Randy are still friends and he hangs out with multiple WWE stars to this day, and given that he's actually trained in MMA, I think he actually does have an argument for why he could beat Roman in a street fight. As for him picking fight with top guys, if you're referring to Seth...that whole situation started because his *ex-wife* body shamed Becky to which Riddle was the one who had apologized on behalf of her. I can understand if you wanna make the argument that he isn't too professional to be working in an environment like WWE, and in that case, he is a burden to the company, but whether you see it or note he does have likeable qualities about him and judging from this interview he seems to not be as bitter and unlikable as what others make it seem. TL;DR Respectfully, I gotta disagree with you, sir.

that's why i always liked Matt Riddle. despite being "controversial", hard to work with and rubbing some people the wrong way, he's always honest, grateful for the good stuff and using every opportunity to its fullest. and yeah, if wrestler X could come back after doing this and saying that, i think there's quite a big chance we'll see Riddle in WWE again, possibly a RK-Bro reunion at that. and look, not that long ago you had Velveteen Dream on the show, who's been crossed out by literally everybody. then the apology video comes out, the interview happens and everybody's like "okay, but what if...". so, to quote the Undertaker's words at the end of his HoF induction: "Never say never."

The difference is CM Punk is a megastar and a massive draw where as Riddle never was. He can't even do an interview without sounding like he's on something, he's just not worth the hassle

Riddle was never presented as a main eventer, so there's that. And, as far as "sounding like he's on something," obviously WWE didn't have a problem with that since they capitalized on the "stoner" stuff.
