@@andrew8168 They did. He's been on 4 or 5 times. Really funny and witty guy. It's always good to see when boys grow into men and that competitive edge doesn't have to be there 24/7. That said, this could've been a good angle. Sly turning on Rene or vice versa. Could've leaned into the whole Canada vs. France thing, with one guy doing a Quebec separatist thing "We're French!" and the other guy going "We're French CANADIAN!" with a payoff match in Toronto or Montreal.

René got "drafted" to SmackDown in 2004 after Wrestlemania. Mainly due to SmackDown roster was riddled with injuries, mostly needing more heels. René was a young guy and had a slight push but got overshadowed by the insurgency of John Cena. Then René was used as marketing tool for the French-speaking audience for the remainder of his stay in WWE.

Bingo. Riddle was already on a second strike with the racket he pulled last year. He had the Goldberg and Lesbar stuff before that and I believe I’ve heard he was causing drama backstage which was largely the reason he got paired with Randy. Riddle was lucky to last as long as he did but with this thing it was the final straw. The dude is still acting like a kid and he’s 37 years old. Dude ruined his MMA career and now possibly his wrestling career because he can’t get out of his own way.

Honestly this release was not a surprise. Riddle is like late 30's and constantly has had issues. He's been given so many chances after that recent drama I would have been surprised if they kept him especially with the merger. He couldnt even go 6 months after returning from being suspended without keeping out of trouble

The performance of the TKO stock after the announcement is why stock price is almost a silly way to truly evaluate a company’s success. The idea that you book a 40% increase in what you’re gonna be paid but because it isn’t on the same network or maybe that wasn’t enough of a jump you lose 12% of your value is silly. Obviously it’s the way the average Joe can build some wealth for themselves but it really demonstrates the need for strong diversification

His role as an ambassador is an employee role. He probably still has a talent contract as well. If he does that will probably get cut but his role as an ambassador he would probably keep because it has value to remain. The people getting slashed are going to be redundant roles and/or talents who aren’t being used as the new company isn’t going to want to spend money just to keep people around. Can’t ever be sure of anybody keeping their job but he would be one who would have better chance of keeping his id imagine.

Rene has done something that Riddle can't seem to learn how to do, and that's grow up. I've been subscribed to this channel for 2 years and seen the character growth in Rene on this channel alone. In the beginning, he seemed disinterested and bitter. Bordering on cocky. And why wouldn't he be? He is genetically gifted at 6'3, 260, jacked, semi famous and comes from a wealthy family. But I think he's come to realize you can be genetically better than everyone around you and still be nice to people. Same with Randy Orton and Brock. Both guys were trouble all throughout their 20's and 30's but around that 40 year old mark, both realized they were no longer boys, they were men. They were dads. They started to relax with the gimmick and be kinder to people, including the fans. Life humbles all of us at some point. Riddle is 37 and just hasn't gotten there yet. I generally speaking love marijuana. I don't think it's a gateway drug. But too much of anything can be destructive. Riddle needs sobriety and a lot of therapy.

I don't like seeing anyone lose their job but who was Matt Riddle? I legit thought he was a woman the first time I saw him on WWE TV. I think that's the only time I'd ever seen him cause he was gone after that. My gym leaves Fox on 24/7 so when I'm in the gym on Fridays I end up catching a few minutes while doing cardio. From what I've seen though, I'd be afraid to tell anyone I watch it. It's truly the worst wrestling I've ever seen.

Dana White will do whatever pads his pockets. Riddle in UFC wasn't a big enough draw to justify letting him smoke. I would think someone whose familiar with Dana White, would recognize that he's always had an odd stance against marijuana.
