Watching this in 2024, im going into my mid 30’s. Hearing these two talk is nostalgic, bring me back to my late middle school days into High School. Thinking the CKY videos and Jackass would be so iconic for a generation. It makes me think of all those summers of just rewatching them and going out from sun up to sun down, skating, doing dumb shit. Feels sad but also happy.

@UncleJesus Johnny and Chris did all the stunts on Action Point and Steve O still does stunts too. Johnny was getting so hurt on the set of Action Point that his eye popped out of his socket and had to wear an eye patch for a period of time and was told he wasn't allowed to sneeze or blow his nose for 6 weeks. Also broke a lot of bones as well. They're older..but not THAT old to where they couldn't do anything. Chris Pontius is as active as he's always been and has kept in shape.
@AudialAlkhemyst6 жыл бұрын
@UncleJesus Yeah regarding Ryan Dunn; well, he was a certain glue-almost, 100%. Just the bond between him and Margera was/is so strong that.. I almost doubt Margera has any interests in continuing those projects without Dunn. I don't think one can fully relate to how losing close friends like that impacts ones' life, psychology, and drive from there on out - unless having experienced it. Im sure Margera wouldn't have been the last Jackass member to try and Sober up if Dunn hadn't (rest east Dunn) passed so tragically. Im sure he would have been fine with the consumption had him and Dunn had been able to support each other in sobriety, things probably would have been much different. In such a stupid accident, after so many prior drunk/driving accidents, and so many dangerous stunts. its tragic as fuck Dunn passed in a car accident. It isn't easy losing your closest friend, especially one who one has grown up. Then suddenly... The world is upside-down - after being on Cloud9 with your homies filming the best of your productions. Having such insane experiences, then life is switched up on a dime, at a seconds' notice. That shit is tough. Real tough.

It's honestly so weird seeing the crew all grown up, having families, and making something of themselves other than working on tv entertainment. All I've ever done is seeing everyone's earlier works and the "peek" of the crew, and seeing everyone young and having the times of their lives one second, then the next second you'll see them growing from that situation. They're more than the high life of being celebrity teen idols. And It's just very inspiring seeing how they flourish into something more. I'm upset that I had come so late into CKY and Jackass. I guess that I had been born too late, cause by the time I was born they had already finished Viva La Bam series. I would do anything to just watch everything when it was in it's prime. But it's just crazy to me that you'll still find people watching the films and the early experience of MTV back then. There is still young fans that are seeing everything for the first time. I had only become a fan and noticed the group this year. And watching everything has been so heart warming and has inspired me to work hard for something, and I will honestly get there.

I have been endeared to cKy/Big Brother/jackass since their respective beginnings and it all lies within the friendships that lie at the core of each crew. I grew up watching you, defending you in the 90's and early 00's to my parents and peers, now I get to watch you guys manage your kids while reminiscing on the friendship you have, all the while I'm over here wrangle my own kids and feeling nostalgic. Thanks for being there for so many of us as we grew up, I genuinely hope you're all well and have a great 2019.

I'm just now discovering these vids. Good job Raab. I always wondered how you turned out. Seriously laughed at several of these vids. I was a year older than Jess and played Bass professionally. I wanted to take CKY's bass players job in 2001.

As much as this show needs a Dico ep, He will never do it. He's a hermit and hates the limelight

Thanks Rabb!!! I've always wondered if you guys ever run into fans now later on in life. Awesome podcasts bro! You cover a lot of stuff but can have a part two to all your guests!

Omg right after Rake talks about how paranoid he is he picks up his drink, pauses, puts it back down and you just know he’s trying to remember if it’s always been in his sight line 😂😂😂
