@Dhikshith Gajulapalli You can't have garbage time stats yet always have a lead to blow. There's no such thing as garbage stats when you're ahead. Look at all the close losses he had. Everyone is forgetting what that term meant. If the score is 38-7 and the team with 7 scores a TD with less than 4 minutes in the game, THAT'S garbage time. Losing 31-27 when the score was tied at 24 late in the game isn't the same thing 🤦

I'm a Niners fan, but traditionally when viewing the Belichick - Brady Patriots, you could rely on them having a very balanced team. Getting a free ride against the balanced Pats teams was not going to happen often. You'd have to work against Belichick's defenses and sooner or later, you'll mess up and Brady will make you pay with the extra given opportunity. With Matt Ryan and Drew Brees, they pretty much never had the luxury Brady had of consistently decent defenses and a coach that knew how to turn the screws against some high powered offenses like the Rams a few years back. I know I'm going off topic more, but I'm actually disappointed Belichick and Brady had the "divorce" they had. They completed each other well and gave a lot of opportunities for the Pats to win a lot.

I analyzed Matt in my book along with all the Hall of Famers whose careers started after 1947 and several of the recent stars who are on their way to the hall. Ryan is a lock!! If he retired today his body of work would place him as the 15th greatest quarterback of all time close behind Sonny Jurgensen and with a pretty good lead over Brett Farve who is currently 15th. For those who think I am nuts placing Ryan ahead of Farve please analyze Ryan's defenses and check out Brett's interceptions and get back to me. My method includes 16 different categories and the key to this being the right way to compare quarterbacks of different eras is that you don't compare the statistics themselves. You calculate how much better or in some cases worse the quarterbacks were than the average quarterback of their day and then compare those percentages. No stone is left unturned with some of the categories being strength of schedule, time of possession and even fumbles and it all concludes with a longevity multiplier. The book is written it just needs to go to press and everyone will know who the real top quarterbacks of all time are and find out who is the real GOAT. Spoiler alert Tom is not in the top 5.

You can sum up the Atlanta falcons under Matt Ryan in just this: The defense shit the bed and Matt Ryan throws a pick
