Imo Matt Smith did the best job by far with evolving his incarnation of the Doctor over his time on Who (as an actor i.e. regardless of the writing). In each of his three series his Doctor has a different tone to him and I love it. It’s like you can really see the centuries on his character. And it’s interesting to see him here talking about how that was actually a big focus and goal of his with the character. Props to you Matt. He really is an incredibly creative, talented, hardworking actor. Ew I say that as if I know anything lol 😂 I bet he IS great tho
