WOW!!! That was one of my favorites in the collection so far, Matt is why I liked GnR so much. What I really appreciate about Matt's playing is that he's a musical drummer and doesn't over complicate things, it's his speed and flow in his perfect orchestrations that make him a Legendary level drummer. The amazing solo at the end is a perfect lesson in mastering The Rudiments, as everything he played was Singles, Doubles and Paradiddles. I'd like to take a moment to acknowledge and thank Adrian for this channel where he so generously shares video gems of amazing drummers from the past, allowing us to learn from them while getting a glimpse of the person behind the star. Mike fusano came in to tune my drums for my 1st record,I had no idea on how to tune..we recorded the drums and they were buried in the mix so much,whatever he did (and not on his end) didn’t mean shit
