This is an awesome episode looking at it from a different perspective. I really like at 6:48 when you talk about being able to live anywhere and still pop. With the internet now you don't have to live in LA or any big city in order to get some popularity off your content and I think that's super dope

I like Matt’s story at 2:33 about how he got his start as a dancer and choreographer and how he built up his music industry connections by being authentic and taking advantage of the resources and opportunities he both had access to and felt right for him.

Around 6:40. Despite his huge growth, he keeps reinventing and modernizing himself and his brand.

26:50 how Matt would start building a brand and getting his content out there if he were to start from nothing. Researching what songs are about to blow up and put out content around that song before it blows up. Excellent advice

28:00 when you guys talk about cross promoting and it made me think how I could do that but with collabs.

@Cymatics, here’s a question- when I first hit people up on social media to build relationships, I use your advice and *offer* something that I have that Is useful to them. In this case- (oversimplified) “hey! Your music is dope, you’ve got a new fan. Blah blah blah Can I offer you some beats?” But then I get left on read. What do you guys recommend? Thank!
