You know what's "dirty" allowing the pain and suffering of millions of people to go unchecked and attacking people when they ask about it. We are making people uncomfortable because they DESERVE to be uncomfortable. In previous times they would have been physically taken out. Get some perspective, we are being pretty nice considering.

We're being "nice" (though they cry incessantly about how mean we are) ... because we still have Democracy. If they take that away with this Primary, as they did with Iowa and have openly signaled will try in Milwaukee... it is not going to be so nice. That's crazy, never thought about that concentration of power in politics and money, Schumer in NY, Pelosi in San Fran, Emanuel in Chicago. Insane. I understand that maybe because there are more people in these regions, it could be because of that. But still pretty crazy to think about how what the majority of Americans want are not usually on the table, but what the elites want, who are in these central locations of wealth and power are what get passed ie. tax cuts for wealthy, deregulation for big banks, subsidies for big oil (wall street), cut to entitlements (which hurt more the people in the middle of the country).

Monopsony is probably a worse problem than Monopoly in the US today. The Democratic issue sounds more like monopsony than monopoly (Eg of Monopsony - Walmart is a monopsony because it has massive market control on the supplier side, but less control on the consumer side). The DNC similarly has a lot of control of which suppliers of consulting services get paid.

It's crazy to see Warren supporters getting excited about Klobuchar. Like sure, in a conflict between Klobuchar and Bloomberg, I'd side with her. It's even plausible that sexism has held back her campaign, compared to a world where all other things are equal. She's still not someone I support. If we want to talk about sexism, it's super weird that AOC is basically Bernie on a policy level, but has much lower approval ratings. So it's real and very hard to fix, but the sophist garbage about how everyone has super PACs except for the women is straight up insulting.
