What he is saying is so much more valid in 2019.

Marimilitarybrat it feels quite the opposite, this is thinking of the past, retail store thinking where you could open a competitor. How would the work online, amazon for example?

Why isn’t everyone talking about this insane concentration of power in the hands of a few? Do we need another disaster to revive FDRs legacy?

Matt Stoller makes absolutely no sense, sorry he’s a like-able person but he talks about the problem and never gives an example of a solution just that we need to break it apart, so Facebook welcomes someone to open a social media platform (I don’t see how that’s different than now). If Facebook has the clients they will always get the work, as Andrew Yang says bing exists but it’s not like it’s getting used over google, this is not 1920 Matt Stoller. Hilarious that he thinks competition could exist and he thinks companies paying usually hundreds of thousands of dollars (wages down 😂😂) should not have non compete they are not locking down a cashier at McDonald’s and Wendy’s please everyone don’t take this guy for his ignorant word. Non compete is to protect proprietary information in exchange for large sums of money, humans aren’t that stupid. I am now dumber for having to listen to him, please correct me if I’m wrong I would so like to be wrong here, this can’t be as dumb as it sounds.

The Observer the problem is data monopolies are not very possible to break apart, many methods could focus and grow these companies even more. How do you see a monopoly for a company like google becoming no longer a monopoly for search?

Stoller is a bore. Looks for attention. Without answers or ideas. He needs to go home and eat some his mothers chicken soup.
