Love this video, it’s so real. I love how you edit Matt, because you show us who you are together and it’s one of the main reasons why you’ve got a loyal fanbase. Authenticity is the way to go cause we can relate to it more and be even more inspired by it. Also I agree, no spanking children! It’s true, I know older generations spank kids but honestly when I was a kid. It doesn’t do much to teach me anything at all. Words and reasons actually gets me to understand why my behaviour was wrong as a kid. I get used to the spanking because it doesn’t hurt all that much.

I had bladder problems all through my 20s after having children exercises didn’t work and it got severe finally got an operation at 30 and changed my life so yes it definitely isn’t normal nor should no women have to put up with it and just accept it .

"No one suffers from this so something must be wrong with you", to find out 10 years later its super common in young folks too, not just older folks. Don't listen to the haters. I met my husband when I was 16 got married at 18 had our 1st child at 21 and our second child 23. We have been married for over 17 years and our oldest is in high school now and are youngest youngest is in middle school. When they are both 18 and 20 I will be in my early forties. There will be a time period when traveling and doing big things will be tougher (some stages with kids are just tougher to take them out of their routine) so I really want to encourage y’all to make sure you make some parent friends to be able to have play dates and dinners. Being a parent can be really isolating so it’s important to have fellow parent friends. Also parents don’t care about your age, they just care about you having a kid similar in age to their kid. Parents bond over parenthood. We are young parents and all our friends are older than us. Going on hikes and going to the park or a splash pad when he is a toddler are all great ways to get out for your mental health without having to go do something big.

I think the Matt pushing Abby postpartum doesn’t have to be a bad thing. My husband was like Matt and if he wasn’t our babies would never have slept in their own room and I would’ve just stayed home all the time because it was easier. It was good to get out, even if it was chaotic. And so thankful my hubby implemented the “no babies/kids in our bed/our room” because as he said, it’s important to be husband/wife because we were husband/wife first and if we are connecting then we can be better mommy/daddy.

@@inana0707 oh yes! Newborns always slept in our room. My babies started sleeping through the night at 3 months ish so they went to their crib in their room after that…as hard as it was for me at the time, I’m thankful we did that so we can unwind and have husband/wife time

My husband and I will probably have mostly girls😂😂 on both sides girls are very common. My younger sisters have kids and I have three nieces, another niece on the way and one nephew😂😂 Parenthood is never easy and the first week is so tough. I love being a mom but it’s so mentally draining at times😅 it’s nice to have support because it really does take a village to raise a baby!

I just wanted to comment on one thing you mentioned, and that is spanking kids. When my kids were young, I did feel it important to reserve a spank for super important life threatening situations. For example, we lived in a house on a steep hill and the kids knew that if they put just one foot up on the back deck railing they would be spanked. A tumble over could have been deadly.

When you're ready to get a dog, please don't buy from a breeder!! There are SO many dogs in shelters that need a good home! Also purebred dogs have way more health issues and shorter life spans over mixed breed dogs. Don't shop, adopt!
