I've been following your real estate Channel, didn't realize you guys moved to Miami. It's nice to see you enjoying Miami. I use to live in Brickell, but too much going on and moved to Coral Gables. Merrick Park is deff the best mall aside from the Bal Harbour Shops. If you plan on touring homes Coral Gables and Coconut Grove "The Grove" have some beautiful homes. Some restaurant recommendations: Cote & Mandolin (Design District), Hillstone (Coral Gables), and Makoto (Bal Harbour).

Target is one of the reasons my kids want to move to the USA.. lol! It really looks lovely, you'll have a great time there. I don't think you'll want to ever move back to the UK after this.. maybe just visiting since it's home, but when you get used to the affordability and flexibility there, I don't think you'd want to go back. At least that's what happened to me, I am having to muster up a lot of courage to get to the UK, but when you grow up in warmer climate, and the activities and ease that brings, it's so difficult to make that decision. That being said, let's see how you guys get along, after all home is home, and that's where your heart always gets tugged to.

So funny we did the same thing. We’re an Australian family….moved to India for 8 years for work then all 5 of us were in two small rooms when we moved to Singapore 10 months ago. We had to buy EVERYTHING…..so along with all of our luggage, 3 teenage boys and all of our household new “stuff”……we had to move into our new place via taxi😂😂

Yes, this is a very upmarket store, but an alternative, low budget option for making all your entire purchases, would be to do the same in Ikea.. Which would ultimately be promoting the Ikea brand rather than your own ideas.. Especially when you have both definitely picked up unique style ideas from your extensive travels ❤❤

Why didn’t you guys buy a property? If you move elsewhere you could rent it out? Genuine question, would be great to know reasons. Not good for future rental? Etc

Good question, we can talk about it in a future video. In brief, we decided it was best for us to really understand the area for at least 12 months before buying something. Some people may be put off by renting when they have the means to buy, but it can actually save you money in the long run by avoiding buying something that wasn't right. Even though we could just rent the property out if it wasn't the right fit for us, it can be better in some circumstances to rent the condo you want to live in that comes with very high HOA fees (landlord pays for these) and then buy multiple investment properties for less overall capital invested and return more income overall. Rent from investment properties pays rent payment on apartment we live in and so on... This of course is our personal situation, and doesn't mean it's suitable for all :)
