More like tampering and pay to play are no longer exclusive to the SEC. With the transfer portal as it is and NIL everyone who can is taking advantage of it. And many are tampering with no NCAA enforcement. This is why Sankey is pissed because the SEC no longer has a monopoly of these things to be relevant.

@ what is your point? It is college football, and teams lose to their rivals even tho they are heavily favored. There wasn’t a top team this year that didn’t lose to or almost lose to a team they were heavily favored to beat. Since 1998, the start of the BCS, we have beat Michigan 17 times to their 8 (they didn’t play us in 2020). There was a 7 year and an 8 year streak in there for Ohio State. Some of those years Michigan was awesome, and should have won… they didn’t. This is why the playoff was so badly needed. It is like that in any sport. Teams have off games. Players and coaches shit the bed. That shouldn’t end their season. You clearly are either a Michigan fan and/or just hate Ohio state. I shouldn’t have to tell you about blowing games. Your season was garbage. Michigan didn’t beat OSU, OSU beat OSU. Michigan didn’t beat Bama, their idiot QB did bc he couldn’t throw down field to a freshman that got open like 20 times. Hey Matt. I am a Longhorns fan. I knew that we weren't winning this game because our O-Line is just so inconsistent. Even more so, Quinn's pocket presence sucks because he is usually stiff like a popsicle. At the end of the day, we just fell short. I have nothing but eternal gratitude to Sark and Quinn. They dug us outta the decade-long hole that was our football program and firmly put us back as playoff caliber teams. 2023 we made the CFP for the first time by going 12-1 and winning the big12 conf and beating Bama (losing to OU hurt that year for our wish to go undefeated) 2024 we had an easy SEC schedule and we beat OU, A&M, even Michigan, but the loss to Georgia always irritated me. Nevertheless, we made it to the SEC champ game in our first year in the SEC. We played better that game, but our offense again let us down from winning. But we had a good enough record to play in the CFP. We took care of clemson, we took care of ASU (too close for comfort), and sadly, we came up short against Lil'Bro state to end 13-3. 25-5 record in two years? I'll take that, considering we were mediocre at best for 10 years straight.
