To anyone that plays this game or any of the other classic type games. Most of us use LCD now and it is known to have input lag ranging from not noticeable (20milliseconds) to unplayable (90+milliseconds). With newer 3d games you can have input lag and not even know it but when you go to these reflex based games of old it can make all the difference in the world. Make sure that your LCD is on gaming mode if it has one. Google your model of your LCD if you are unsure with the tag of input lag.

The biggest issue with playing this game on the consoles is the controller itself. Records can be had with a pad but I am sure that with the classic pac man style stick many including myself would do far better when that speed gets up close to 50. I am using the Street Fighter pad on the PS3 version and it is a big improvement but considering that I played pac man when it came out in 1980 I am positive that the old school little red joystick would be far better than any pad.

Namco needs to come out with a table top arcade style joystick tested and approved by Pac-Man Champion Billy MItchell. And one that doesn't cost over 50 dollars. Stupid greed. The Xbox pads are just subpar for this game even when you get down how to mash the joy pad. I've gone down a pathway and the pac-man doesn't take the route I tell it to. You even see the little sparks showing I'm choosing a route before he approaches the path. That could be a game issue more than a controller issue.

NAMCO needs another game like this (Pac Man). I'm tired of this one now :) I still play and like it, but I find myself sort of zoning off and switching to Peggle, Sonic, Earthworm Jim, Burger TIme, or Ghostbusters Sanctum of Slime.. and before I'd be up till 2 AM yelling at my TV that Pac Man did not turn when I commanded him to :) LOL.
