@TheMaemax0609 The electric car battery is like your phone battery the more you use it the less charge it can hold, so after some usage your range will go down significantly. And these batteries are very sensitive to cold weather and salt water. And there's also not enough resources for electric vehicles for everyone, because the resources used in ev cars can be used to make 90 Hybrid cars.

Lithium ion batteries can last a very long time if you don't charge them to 100%.. phone manufacturers now give you the option to charge to 85%. Battery components are over 90% recyclable.. that's why you see battery recycling stations in various places. The lithium ion battery has been around since 1974. It's in your cell phone, your ear buds, mobility scooters, laptops, tablets, power tools, etc. Car batteries for ICE cars come in lithium to replace the old lead acid crap. I can fill my Plaid up for about $9 and I get about 300 miles of range (if I don't lay into the 1020 horsepower)... Meanwhile I'm sure you're spending at least $40 to fill up whatever you're driving. I have an 8 year warranty on the battery pack and electric motors so what's hard about maintaining my car? 🤷

i don’t care if Chinese car good or bad. Our Australian needs more affordable options. Look at the cars we got in store today. Even Toyota are rip off. WTF. 50K for an Honda civic 40K for a Corolla. 65K Rav 4. Look how many people are moving to Korean car in these few years .i still remember 5-6 years ago we all laughed if someone buying one. And now people have to buy Chinese car because it’s affordable. Australian already suffering on our home mortgage. Look how funny the government to say let’s buy an EV so you can save your pocket and the earth but they all cost more than 60K at the time. And Average Australia family buy cars around 30K-50K. Now we thanks BYD and more Chinese brands to bring in affordable options for us. Especially the seal 06 DMi, plz BYD. We need this car, a 30K PHEV that can run 2400km with 1 tank of fuel.

Well said. Australia only needs to stop following the USA government's orders, but instead be a trading partner with China, it can buy all the beef, produce, minerals and whatever Australia can supply. Unfortunately the politicians in Australia don't care about people in Australia, because they can personally earn more money from USA government by following its orders to avoid China. Let it be, China is doing well without Australia and USA, as we can see China has a huge global market to fill.

it's a actual full eletric 1300 HP hypercar, for only 300k? the performance of YangWang series cars are so technologically advanced, they can do a full 360 turn standing still, full of bell and whistles (that legacy auto makers charges an arm and leg for). the future of automotive will be fully electric, and China is and will be leading the vanguard of the electric car revolution far into the future. 40 years ago, just a though of this would have been a pipe dream--but this is 2024, this is reality. On the track its huge power is offset by the heavy LFP batteries. Actual track time as disclosed by BYD is close to a similarly priced 911 (GT3 RS) with half the horsepower. Maybe it's a supercar, but certainly not a hypercar. Cost to performance is not as high as the other Yangwang models.

Missed opportunity on the inside was some circular yet digital displays instead of a rectangle, maybe even an analog/digital combo. Another thing would be tactile buttons and switches instead of that huge bum display in the center. The displays make it look "CHINESE." I was really impressed by the exterior but the interior is just depressing.
