@@depressed.743 Corby implies that the ex-partner he is describing was not only abused herself (implied to be by her father), but was also inflicting a similar level of abuse to Corby. Again whilst the image of a person who revels in their pain may be bring about feelings of sympathy and compassion- this is quickly contrasted with the reality of her repeating the cycle of abuse upon Corby. Survivors of abuse have often been well-documented to perpetuate abusive tendencies towards future relationships as a result of their struggle to cope with the pain of what they had experienced. -Copied from Genius
