Aww, thanks. :) I wasn't even looking for them, particularly, but they're there! Confusingly they're not listed as Total Heroes on the Mattel site (which is annoying). I don't know why this 3 year old video came up on my feed, but it was fun to watch. Kid oriented lines are not really my thing as a collector, but once in awhile they manage to hit the right nostalgia mark, and end up being cool enough to end up in the displays of many a jaded collector. I never did collect these, but I always found it interesting how often these would come up in my searches. For the past few years I've been on a mission to collect all the DC Direct, DCUC and Matty Collector figures that appeal to my weird brain. One of my proudest accomplishments was putting together the entire Blackest Night/Brightest Day series, minus the color variant, con exclusive Hal Jordans. Sorry, people, they just aren't worth THAT much. But I digress. My point, if anyone is still reading, is after whittling down a list of well over a hundred figures to less than a handful, I never stopped finding Total Heroes listings in my results. I think that speaks to the universal appeal of the line that makes it a cool collectible for fans of all ages.

It was a great line!!! It had so much potential. If you can get the Wonder Woman that came at the very end of the line. There’s also a four pack with the riddler. I just wish with so many batman variants , they would have done a classic superman. They had the bizzaro that was classic. Plus would have been so easy for reverse flash. Great job Brad!!!!

I agree about Revers Flash and Superman. A kitbash of Supes should be pretty easy though. A Bizarro belt and some red paint with some flash paint around his neck and it could happen.

I really enjoy these figures. I have the black and gray batman,sinestro, bizzaro,steel and mr. freeze. They do all have the same body mold aside from Luther freeze and firestorm who share the same buck but they do complement each other well and they look good on display.

Another great video. Thank you for giving DC fans DC love. On Cyborg that is not metallic paint. Its a more expensive process call vac metallization or chroming. The 80s Superpowers line produced an all chromed Cyborg that is the holy grail of the American Superpowers releases, ie. super expensive. The Total Heroes Cyborg is an homage to that Superpowers release. Just with a limited amount of chroming, 😞.

I wasn’t totally sure if it really was back or paint. It seemed like paint to me but then again I never actually owned the Super Powers Cyborg. He always evaded my DC loving grasp.

great looking figures, one thing that i notice when you say that this line is for kids im agree but if you collect figures would be from adult collectors or simple toys is just that, toys i liked it but there are toys. It makes me laugh that some collectors do not accept that despite everything they are toys and only that

Love these figures, but why are they so expensive online if they are for kids? After your video i looked on ebay over here in the UK and a Sinestro figure is going for about £60..... crazy!

I can find them fairly cheap here in Canada. Some of them are more expensive but that’s because of limited availability due to the line being defunct. There is a pinned comment at the top to some links for them.

Not my cup of tea brother. DC Direct or DC Collectibles are the bomb. Mattel is pretty much for kiddies. Once in a blue moon they do something right.
