Mattel Hammond Collection Dr. Alan Grant & Gallimimus Review!!

Grant is a must have. Really like the baby raptor accessory included too, and the alternate hand with the claw. Also that scene at like 8 mins had me lmao. The fact the Gallimimus was based off that weird JW viral website render with the inaccurate striping, and the teeth, is a bit disappointing, but at least the articulation is mostly decent. Surprised to see it bigger then the older ones too. Both the 2018 Legacy and Battle Damage versions have the accurate SWS coloration though (which actually was carried over into the JW film), so I'm glad I have both of those figures. I'll probably pick it up after it shows up in stores near me.

I can't wait to get these two because I missed out on the Legacy Alan Grant and I got none of the mainline Gallimimus figures because it's was hard to find so I can I can't wait to find these and great review

Cue up the Grant riding a Gallimimus level in JP Rampage Edition on Sega Genesis!...wow if that doesn't date me 😁 I already have Legacy Collection representations of both...but who am I kidding I'll probably get them at some point down the road if artificial scarcity in the aftermarket hasn't inflated them too much by then. They look so good but the Gallimimus is my favorite but I’m looking forward to getting Carnotaurus, Allosaurus, TLW Stegosaurus, Ceratosaurus and even Rexy herself.

Went to my local target today and picked up the entire first wave. All of them are beautiful but I really want to get my hands on wave 2. The Rex and ceratosaurus look amazing but I think I may need to go for the whole collection

Soo, I have the jeep wrangler way back from the 90s. I really would like to know if these would be in scale with it. I would LOVE it if they are, does anyone know? :)

I think they could add articulation to the lower end of the ankle. Kinda same with the raptor.

Wouldn’t mind ankle articulation. But it doesn’t hurt the poseablity much without it.

I just got myself the Gallimimus from BBTS a couple of days ago. But...any idea regarding a release date for the Ceratosaurus and the Triceratops? Those are the ones I'm looking forward to now. Edit: 8:00 I did not expect that 💀

The triceratops is already shipping from Mattel creations. Not sure about the Ceratosaurus. Says by the end of July. But I’m betting it’ll be much sooner.

They could’ve easily made a different head sculpt. Would’ve solved the issue easily. But it doesn’t bother me much. It’s still a really fun figure.
