I generally love the Hammond Collection but damn the raptors in this line are all crap. Glad I picked up the Amber Collection ones. Only wish we'd gotten the JP3 female raptor too and possibly Beta from Dominion before the line got cancelled. Anyways, good, informative and detailed review as always!

Great review man! And I agree with you on the paint job on the JP3 raptor. The Amber Collection one is better than the Hammond Collection one. But I guess it can be fixed by some customization.

I don’t like the Hammond collection figures I always just think they are little bit ugly but that’s just my opinion.

I’m still salty they don’t do wrist and upper ankle joints on the smaller theropods (lower ankle in the case of the Galli), I’d say it is still possible to do it with better engineering and proportions (especially on the legs), but of course Mattel wants to be cheap. Shame as the jp3 raptors are also my absolute favorite designs. I just wish they didn’t go super cheap on the quality and poseability.

It’s probably cuz the joints are too tiny and are prone to popping off. The elbow joints on my HC velociraptor are extremely loose and close to popping off

@@AtrociCollector from what I heard the leg proportions aren’t even right in the first place so they could’ve made them a little big enough anyway that way we could have good upper ankle joints :/ And your elbow joint problem I guess just proves their quality isn’t that great :p

@@yuyaricachimuel555 it’s not the quality this time…sure my other HC figures have quality issues such as a broken jaw and a deformed toe(literally, im not making this up) but I managed to plug the elbows back in and the arms work fine now

The Mattel Hammond Collection Jurassic Park 3 Male Velociraptor would be even better with especially the shorter feet than the head (the feet 1/3 shorter than the head would be enough), the jaws or even the slightly longer head as well as the tail. I so will want Mattel would also do in Hammond Collection : -Jurassic World Tyrannosaurus Rex with especially the shorter feet than the head (the feet 1/3 shorter than the head), and all the scars : those on the right, on the muzzle, and those on the left especially at the level of the shoulder; -Jurassic Park 3 Tyrannosaurus Rex with especially the shorter feet than the head (the feet 1/3 shorter than the head), and the scars on the right muzzle; -Pyroraptor with specially the smaller and shorter feet than the head (the feet 1/3 shorter than the head); -Spinosaurus with tail measuring halfway through the total length of the body, the bigger sail, and the feet not so big (the feet 1/2 shorter than the head); -Suchomimus with tail measuring halfway through the total length of the body, and the feet not so long (the feet 1/2 shorter than the head); -Velociraptor Blue with especially the shorter feet than the head (the feet 1/3 shorter than the head); -Jurassic World Pteranodon.
