I think the problem with the face is that they made it longer and thinner rather than t.rex like like the jp3 cerato

Love the head sculpt on this guy! Definitely going to pick this up when I see it in stores.

I’m still deciding on whether to get this one or not. It’s quite easy when it comes to paint modifications as I can easily js paint black stripes along the back, black for the claws and a white/cream colour for the underbelly. Not to mention, I also do quite like that head sculpt and the addition of small feet.

This is easily the best JP Ceratosaurus figure I’ve ever seen. And while I still love the older color scheme, I prefer this color & pattern more. This figure is easily going to be one of the next figures I’ll be adding to my collection. ^-^

Most definitely not, especially the head. The head on the HC one was more based on the Evolution design, this one's head is different in shape and jawline

The head sculpt HC Cerato and this version is based on JW Evolution if you notice. It's different shapes from the JP3. That's why you saw it quite off. It's actually good. But it's not what this thing in the film actually looks like.

Isn't the JP Ceratosaurus more popular with fans than the JW Allosaurus? I really dont keep up with such things, it just dawned on me , recon why Mattel has a Colossal Allosaurus, but not a Colossal Ceratosaurus.
