I grew up watching this show back in the late 80s and early 90s and I have a specific memory connected to this character. I was a kid and I had a dream that I have this figure, well, the original, figure from back in the day. And then, when I woke up, I was so disappointed that I didn't actually have it. I don't know why it was Besat Man, maybe because of the bright colors or something. Again, I was a kid. But for some reason I rembered that dream whole my life. And so, now, all these years later, we are getting these Filmation inspired versions. I think that I have to get these. Thank you for the review!

I had a similar connection to Merman not sure why but the colouring of him in the series and the fins on the sides of his face always loved his look but never really got the cartoon look of Merman until later figure lines. Super7 I think did one in the filmation style but for what those go for I can't justify shelling over that kind of money. Now that we will be getting one from Mattel as part of the Cartoon Collection i can finally have a cartoon Merman on the shelf. Really appreciate you coming by and checking out the video, hope we get a chance to see you again!

@@TheReviewSpot That cartoon Merman does look good and I can't wait to see the final product once it's released. I watched a lot of your videos in the past couple of years. I do understand the struggle of finding figures in stores. I'm in Croatia, Europe, and the distribution here is really bad. At least Hasbro finally made their EU expansion last year so things are getting better on that front. Keep it up, I always enjoy your content and of course I'll be here for more.

yeah that sounds about right, on a whim I was checking out what some of them were going for on Ebay and they're all about that 200-300 price and the worst part is that its usually USD so I'd still have to covert it over to Canadian which would add another third the price on top of it,...ouch!

The Mattel/Super 7 Club Grayskull2.0 version for me is still the best version of Beastman which I proudly own! Still sealed in original packaging!

These figures that come with cómics can each come with a diferentes one. Either hace the story toldos through the perspective if each character or have a complete story told through each comic but have it made in a way that is not incomplete. Like the movies that are divided in parts.

That's a good head sculpt! Might get him. Though not too interested in the Cartoon versions overall. Though I am getting some Turtles of Grayskull. Rather I already have the Man-At-Arms and Shredder from that series.

@@TheReviewSpot Yes, I am in the states, but not seen in stores yet until spring. I found them on Amazon, and Big Bad Toy Store. I think they are on Entertainment Earth as well. Trap Jaw and Teela are coming in March or April.

Here in Canada we've gotten squat luckily I was able to order the first wave from Big Bad Toy Store, so I didn't have to pay some of the crazy prices they were going for over on Ebay.

@@TheReviewSpot Seems like they always hit the online retailers before stores. Oh yes, I avoid Evil-Bay as much as possible. ha ha I am glad you got them! :) Turtles of Grayskull line is the other line that hit online as well. I'm not a Turtles fan, so I passed on them. Did you pre-order Trap Jaw and Teela on BBTS? I did, I can't wait to have them.

I haven't been able to pre order the Teela and Trap Jaw yet, waiting for available funds. Its been a busy month of February so far and we're just starting, between the Mattel stuff and what Super 7 are looking to drop this month, its going to be an expensive figure month for me :(

Not sure where in Canada you are but here in BC you can pick up all the MOTU figures at a store called Ages 3 and Up, they regularly get in all the latest, including the MOTU turtles and cartoon collection figures to the best of my knowledge.

yeah for those that wanted the vintage scale at a retail price these are pretty good, some are a bit better than others. I think the lesser articulated Vintage Filmation Super7 figures resemble the cartoon more but they are also less articulated and going for much more

I checked with the Landshark and they seem to fit, the quarters are a bit tighter but they seem to still be able to somewhat sit inside of them
